In Rewilding, Kripalu director Micah Mortali combines elements from the yoga and Buddhist traditions with ancestral skills to create a unique guide for reconnecting with your primal energy-your undomesticated inner self-and awakening your innate bond with the natural world.
First used by conservation groups to refer to restoring natural environments, “rewilding” has important implications for human well-being. When we awaken our wild selves, we learn to listen to our bodies and often see our health improve. We trust our instincts and better manage our time, energy, and relationships. We cultivate the confidence to act on our heart’s deepest callings. And we gain an understanding of our place in the world, learning to see ourselves as both children and caretakers of the Earth.
Mortali’s Rewilding offers nature-based meditations, mindfulness practices, yoga flows, and outdoor skills such as tracking and fire-building to help you develop a sense of calm, clarity, connection, and confidence in both your daily life and the great outdoors.
Sounds True was founded in 1985 by Tami Simon with a clear mission: to disseminate spiritual wisdom. Since starting out as a project with one woman and her tape recorder, we have grown into a multimedia publishing company with more than 80 employees, a library of more than 1500 titles featuring some of the leading teachers and visionaries of our time, and an ever-expanding family of customers from across the world. In more than three decades of growth, change, and evolution, Sounds True has maintained its focus on its overriding purpose, as summed up in our Mission Statement.

I grew up in a concrete jungle. No trees. No grass. Rows of terraced houses. One day my mum bought a bunch of fresh mint to make mint sauce. I thought it was the most wonderful moment smelling that mint and the green colour so strong. I still remember it to this day and I’m an old lady.

It’s even better if you take off your shoes and feel the earth under your feet , you will feel a beautiful lightness of being ...healing 🙂

I’m outside surrounded by nature as much as I can. Gardening, sitting watching, smelling listening. I instantly feel the benefits, I wouldn’t be able to function without it!

I have thick bamboo in my back yard. I've lived here 6 yrs now. I only just discovered the peaceful state of mind I get every time I go into the bamboo. I was severely injured by a piece of dried bamboo that had been cut so I could use it in my garden. I now have the utmost respect for the bamboo. Now... I speak to it. I cut nothing before praying & thanking it for helping me with my survival. Deep respect.

Sadly, due to our massive overpopulation, few of us have this privilege of hanging out in Nature. Nice video, though. Stress R Us
