That 4 speed automatic transmission last forever, longer than the manual as long as transmission fluid drain and refill every 60-90k miles with Toyota WS fluid. NO clutch replacement needed unlike the DSG or similar automated manual transmission. The torque converter type transmission is extremely reliable.

You dont have to replace clutches on the newer DQ200/250 DSGs

is there difference between corolla e12 hatch and sedan? i drive e12 hatch 1.4 vvti British version and the car is great, it can go quite well if you force the pedal
