Great for a first car or as a daily driver if you just want a car that gets you to where you need to be. You can have some fun without breaking speed limits if you have a manual. Car starts shaking at 140 km/h and above (could probably be improved with better wheels/suspension). Overall it just works like it was intended to and you'll probably get a lot of value from it for what they're going for used nowadays. Also steering feel is great in my opinion, unlike newer cars where you can't even feel the road.

I also think they're great to learn in because they're medium sized, so if you can drive this car you'll be able to drive any small car easily and getting used to a larger car won't have as much of a learning curve as jumping from a small car to a large car.

I believe this is a base model. Manual transmission, power front and manual rear windows, the smallest engine available (probably) and cloth seats.

Wish the rear was like that for US Corolla's from that gen, although original japan design is normally really good, the ones here look sooo ugly in the back. This does remind me a bit much if a Volkswagen and Opel had a Toyota love child. I guess to push sells in European markets.
