First off Legacy (the new toyline coming out in 2022) is looking good and awesome so far. I hope quite a lot of Prime as well as Animated characters get made, specifically Prime Cliffjumper, Prime Smokescreen, Prime Wheeljack as well as Animated Megatron, Animated Lockdown and Animated Lugnut. Second this is also a great episode of Prime, my favourite moment in it would have to be when Smokescreen was trying to take on all of the Decepticons while trying to get the Star saber. Season 2 of Prime is by far my most favourite season in the show, so many great episodes.
Yes Legacy which either means that every character left from the g1 toy lines and other characters exclusive to prime and armada can finally reappeared l have been dieing for an excuse for beast Deathsaurs and comic exclusives to appear.
I remember gasping about the Star Saber’s appearance, while my brother was confused toward my excitement. Until I explained just how popular Star Saber is in Japan, while also reminding him of the Saber in TF: Armada, because we both used to watch that series, which started our fandom of Transformers.
When I saw Ultra Primal being angry I thought he'll start swearing like in one of his G1 episode review. BTW when I first heard Ultra Primal swear for the first time of reminds me of when 7 year old brother swear for the first time, it was he swore the a-word and b-word
Sadly in the next episode, the Star Saber will be destroyed, unlike in my Comic where Star Saber was formed by Primus and because of that, it's INVINCIBLE (indestructible).
1:46 though that also applies to the driver of the other car. Instead of simply yelling at Smokescreen and driving off, he clearly had every intention of using that crowbar to, in his eyes damage the other driver's car and possibly the driver too. A true male Karen. No actual damage done to his car, but decides the best way to deal with the near collision is destruction of property and assault. Smokescreen was definitely in the wrong to break cover, but that driver clearly needs a dose of reality to slap him in the face
7:24 Fitting this is in Egypt since there was another show that Duane Capizzi worked on that also takes place there. Not to mention a possible ROTF reference.
this is the coolest episode ever !!!!!!!!!!!!! spoiler alert next episode is the beginning of the hunt for the four omega keys which will bring them back to Cybertron. ok enough spoilers in next episode
I wonder, if it worked, what would the Decepticons have done with the sword AND mountain. Too big for the ship, I think. Maybe hide it in a forest, surrounded by troops?
@@kaisipe412 well in war for cybertron video game after megatron killed sentinel zeta prime maybe somewhere in the beginning of fall of cybertron before the exodus alpha trion sents the iacon relics to space and had the same faith like zeta and was killed by megatron himself.
I liked the moment when optimus pulled the starsaber from the stone. what is worse Hotrod helping kill Optimus or Smokescreen revealing himself to human and indangering a human.
I love how Optimus Pull out The Sword it did remind me of Tessaiga from Inuyasha and yeah what Smokescreen did is pretty reckless but he’s young and he’s still learning that’s how Young Bots would act you know what they say Live and Learn.
I imagine OP and some other 80's icons meet up at the Cafe 80s. Someone brought up lightsabers and faster than you can say Keyblade, everyone starts whipping their iconic swords out. He-Man unsheathes his Sword of Power. Lion-O takes out the Sword of Omens. Voltron summons his Blazing Sword and then they turn to Optimus. No sword, but he takes out his axe and gets laughed at. And that is how he winds up at Hasbro saying "I need a sword." I like this episode. It really pays off the dynamic between the Autobots and Jack. Jack's a good kid, but he's kinda like the babysitter over Miko and Raf. Here you are reminded he is a kid and prone to impulsive decisions giving the right/wrong influence. Arcee plays into her protector role. She REALLY doesn't want to put Jack at unnecessary risk. And it does a good job of integrating Smokescreen into the team. Only nitpick is Smokescreen should have had a punishment not just a warning. like being grounded at base until the next episode.
Honestly, given how casually Smokescreen put Jack's life at risk, I'm surprised and kinda disappointed that Arcee didn't beat him within an inch of his life. Seems a little out of character for her to go so easy on him. Edit: It also would've raised the dramatic stakes as well as create story hooks to resolve later down the line, such as forcing the two to work together and actually talk out their differences in order to accomplish some kind of goal.
I love the moment where Megatron made from himself an idiot when tries to pull out the Star Saber. 🤣🤣
Told you all that this episode has the biggest badass scene in the entire series.
I favourite scene was when Smokescreen revealed himself to a Human.
And I bet that guy send the phone on Facebook
in the episode when optimus gets the star saber and slices
the boulder and megatron is shocked you can see Optimus winked at him
Oh, right!
@Cybertron13
yeah watch the episode

This version of Star Saber will also be in my Comic, it looks so gorgeous.
I'm gonna love this one.while watching the show my heart beated so hard while the fight scenes were going on.
Alternate title: Let's go bully smokescreen
0:22 And are you interested in them? Only 2 have been revealed so far. More are to come through listings.
I really love the "Magic Sword for the Chosen one" cliche, even though it's Overused it's still Awesome.

Well Smokescreen did want to be recognized at least on the human internet
I'm not sure if I like the actual transformer star saber or the sword star saber
I:d say go for the sword mostly because hehehe shiny sword go brrrrr
4:40/6:28 And in my headcannon, that's where our Victory hero and swordsman got his name from.
Megatron being genuinely scared is scary
1:30 i just fell asleep hearing this 'speech', its a war the kid never had a changes to get out on the building and NOT get blown up
5:05 He’s not even wearing any pants
The name is kinda ironic, knowing what the next line is called.
Well I mean the episode name came before the toyline, I hope that we get a Prime Optimus figure which includes the Star saber.
2:38 And to some extent, Blurr.
2:07 they’re reaction to ratchet 🤣🤣🤣
5:39 Smokescreen: "Fully sir."
3:19 It will only respond to the "Power of a Prime".
The star saber is longer than Prime himself
Smokescreen revealing himself to a human reminds me of how sometimes Transformers robots in disguise 2015 Grimlock would reveal himself to humans
Well thats because his alt mode isn’t suitable for disguise. He did get a crane disguise later on though
Or maybe sideswipe & strongarm in season 3 premiere king of the hills

4:39 Well that name has appeared in some TF fiction I believe.
Sadly in the next episode, the Star Saber will be destroyed, unlike in my Comic where Star Saber was formed by Primus and because of that, it's INVINCIBLE (indestructible).
Well, that right there actually explains it.
The Star Saber is from Primus, but the Dark Starsaber is from Unicron
They did rebuilt the Star saber with the Solus hammer. But its not quite as awsome as it was in this episode
@@KTWhatsup Yeah.
1:14 Oh boy, wait until Blurr will show up in Rescue Bots.

what about hotshot
At least he follows the Robot in disguise thing. When he first met Cody for example

If you think the mountain slicing scene was very cool, see the video edited with the avengers theme

They had the space bridge they could have sent it anywhere
In Equestria Girls:
The Star Saber was based on the copied version of the Matrix of Leadership: Matrix of Light. It was the hilt of Prima
Well Smokescreen is a rookie according to the transformers wiki and from the bots
4:26 Somewhere in the Dakota's, Nebraska or Kansas I assume.
So alpha trion is in the alinged continuity although I wonder what happened to him.
Well Optimus saw him in limbo so he probably died when the archives were raided. Both Optimus and Alpha Trion were part of the first 13

Was Ultra Primal saying that Jack Darby should be kick off Team Prime next to Smokescreen
