QUICKSWITCH BIRTH: Sixshot fought a group of Autobots in a battle to the death. The Autobots died, but blasted away a tiny piece of Sixshot's spark, this tiny spark fragment contained all of Sixshot's compassion. An Autobot recovery team found the spark fragment on the battle field floating in a pool of Energon flowing from the lifeless bodies of their fallen friends. Accidentally concluding that the spark fragment was the last piece of life from a fellow Autobot the recovery team took the spark fragment to Vector Sigma and ask for new life to be given to the spark fragment. Vector Sigma restored the fragment into a brand new spark and made it an Autobot, but sensing the spark came from Sixshot, Vector Sigma made the new Autobot a six-changer. The new Autobot was QUICK to prove his loyalty and was able to SWITCH between his six modes at an instant, earning himself the name of Quickswitch.
I enjoy your informative videos a great deal; one transformer that I think would make for a...contemplative shall we say, video, owing to his complicated toy releases and potentially variable characterizations in IDW's original Transformers comics would be Bluestreak. Anyway, just an idea
I had this guy! Amazing six toys in one. I pegged him as a show off with really only one alternate personality, his flying puma. Yes, that is the actual term for his beast mode. She was his nemesis that he had a crush on but she hated him and tricked him to serve Miles Mayhem. Ha. Good times.
Gonna have to say Sixshot's son, something about that idea sounds like it could have been an interesting idea had the cartoon in the States lasted longer.
I like the idea of Cybertronians having kids and being parents. After all the Lithonians had kids on their planet despite being fully robotic being. The lithone kids may have been built.
Updated: Shadow Strika (not the Cyberverse) is stated to have a childhood in her bio. I kinda like Cybertron having kids, but not the sameway organics do. Idk know about you guys, but I also like them having a childhood, but in a mental and emotional sense ( physical childhood is rare or doesn't exist among these aliens). That would make them human and yet alien both at the sametime. Some people think that they have no childhood, but they can and do. In Idw Optimus Prime #25 at the end of the page, you'll see young Cybertronians listening to a story along with organic childern. They weren't kids in a physical sense, but where one in a mental sense and probably a social-cultural sense too. RID2 Slipstream also had a childhood in a short called Slipstream Tragdey. Wheelie himself is a child too. Let's not forget about Cheetor. Yes he was physically an adult, but he had the mind of a child. He didn't care about girls in the first season of BW. Anyway, they do and can have a childhood, just rarely phyiscal sense.
Great series! Quickswitch's profile as a bot with an inconsistent personality to match his separate modes fits in nicely with Shockwave's 'failed duocon experiments'. I think the character should have been explored further in that vien. Sixshot was always the cooler looking toy and character, but Quickswitch had massive potential based on his fractured psyche alone.
Love your content! I learn so much from your channel and definitely gonna try to pick up the historia. Hopefully you will do a video on Warpath in the future.

I think Quickswitch was briefly seen in the cartoon during the Scorponok/Fortress Maximus era. But he was just a background character that was fighting.
My favorite part about Quickswitch's connection to Sixshot was that when Ask Vector Prime made a new group of Great Generals for a version of the Zone antagonist Violin Jiger, Sixshot was specifically named "Filicide Ninjutsu General" as if to imply the most important thing he knew tactically was how to kill your own children.
What a world we'd live in if Quickswitch got to be in Lost Light. Of course for this to happen IDW's original Transformers continuity wouldn't have ended in 2018, nor Roberts would have had to truncate his plans for Season 3.
In theory, the highest would be a septuple changer, given any existing sixchanger, which, is only so many, and by giving them the power of "Zone", this would allow an additional form on top of what they already had. As in Dai Atlas is in theory a quad changer, since he has robot, drill car, ship and the zone mode. Unfortunately, Zone only got one OVA and there is only one manga that is pretty much not possible to find, sucks. I would really like to see people expand on the idea of Zone mode more.
Could you do a Basics for the following: Humans- the fleshy pals that tag along for better or for worse The War- why are they fighting in the first place Japanese only series- The shows that never made it to the west.
Great work I like your videos you really do a fantastic job of capturing all the details.
Watching Sixknight run roughshod over the decepticon headmaster juniors is one of my favorite moments from masterforce.
It's the fact that he was Sixshot's son that grabbed my attention with him. There should be a Son vs Father duel about that in the future.
Punch/CounterPunch,SixShot And His Son QuickSwitch Are One Of The Most Underrated Transformers Characters Ever
Lol I have Sandstorm lying around my flat and never knew he was a triple changer!
I'm going to put him into dune buggy mode now!
Love your content! I learn so much from your channel and definitely gonna try to pick up the historia. Hopefully you will do a video on Warpath in the future.
He has the logical notation symbol for "for all" (an upside-down A) on his forehead, which is pretty neat. In the world of giant robots, he shares this trait with the Turn A Gundam.
Ure one my fave childhood chans, bless u brother.
“Hexadeathimal”
That physically hurt me to listen to
Maybe Nick name him, Hexaldeath
@@lombaxwarrior8576 But Hexadeathimal is already a "Nicknamed*... Well not a Nicknamed but his "Six-Changer Name"
His "real" name or his "original" name is Killswitch
@@fabianrocha9924 sorry, stupid idea. But killswitch, nice
@@lombaxwarrior8576 Its not a stupid idea... And lets be honest I'm pretty sure another Decepticon that didnt know his name was Killswitch probably called him something like Hexaldeath at some point(s)
@@fabianrocha9924 no no i mean me
I'm a lifelong transformers fan, and I don't even recall hearing of this guy. Thanks for the info, and for making me rethink my existence! 😉
I think Quickswitch was briefly seen in the cartoon during the Scorponok/Fortress Maximus era. But he was just a background character that was fighting.
Great video again Chris I never heard of quick switch before at least I don't think that I have lol. can't wait the more
Can you do Starscream next please? I want to know more about his history in the Unicron Trilogy. I would really appreciate it
3:45 That is the best name for a giant robot EVER.
Love waking up on Saturdays to these man good job also how bout a video on skylynx
the way you pronounced puma is going to haunt me forever
Another really interesting episode. Can't wait for next week.
Really good! I knew little about this guy as well! I knew about his comics apperance. Not the rest. Can you Do Great Shot someday?
Well... Thats my favorite cause i had it as a child , and it brings back so many memories...
another fun concept transformer that would be fun to see being used, who knows, maybe even with all interpretations at use.
So he's the only character in the franchise who is canonically related to another character? That's wild!
Pacifist super warrior mixed with rookie wrecker past sounds really interesting
4:16 Then I got Legends Greatshot, I swapped headmasters between him and "Chaos on Velocitron" Quickswitch for the letter to have more unique design.
Quickswitch! Show them what a one-Wrecker army can do!
What a world we'd live in if Quickswitch got to be in Lost Light.
Of course for this to happen IDW's original Transformers continuity wouldn't have ended in 2018, nor Roberts would have had to truncate his plans for Season 3.
Love the videos, can you please do Sky Lynx?
A jet fighter, a hovercraft, a laser pistol, a drill tank... and a pew-ma. AKA *stinky kitty* 🙀💨😝
Anyone know where I can buy the velocitron set? Really want that.
Hi McFeely! I love your work. Can you do a video on Transformers Centurion and Dominus Major? Also, can you cover Transformers Titan Chela?
Quickswitch and Monstructor have allot to talk about
Could you do a Basics for the following: Humans- the fleshy pals that tag along for better or for worse
The War- why are they fighting in the first place
Japanese only series- The shows that never made it to the west.
Maccadam- The oil house and its owner who spans continuities
Hot Rod/Rodimus Prime- The Prime who succeeded Optimus
Action Masters- Transformers without the transformation
Energon- the lifeblood of cybertronians and all its variants
You know, I'm fairly confident that Chris has seen this by now. You don't need to post it on every single episode - he's aware that you want to see them and will do them if he feels he has a good episode there.
Jolene Blake yeah honestly part of it is habit at this point
