I worked in jewellery stores we only usually used testers on small stones you can tell using a loop and looking at larger ones if they are fake or not. Rhinestones have no flaws in them.

Carbon, actually is a chemical element, and not a 'material'. Diamond is.
Coal and graphite also made of carbon, but they will not pass the test. Because, although they are of the same element carbon, but are different materials with different physical and chemical properties.
What the test actually shows you, is that two objects have thermal conductivity very similar to a diamond(which is preset/calibrated by the factory). Nothing more or less.

very good video helped me confirm the truth of a diamond that I have in the rough. and my testers that I have the most. Basic I had already used it and I did not imagine that the battery was lowered very soon and thus I worked for a long time with this device suddenly it stopped turning on. and I realized it was the battery. Buy a new bolvi to test the rough stone and if it was positive. is a diamond. In the rough of an approximate 2000 carats or possibly more, I already tested the hardness and also gave diamond results. I put ultraviolet light on it and it has very little fluorescence, almost nothing. It was all full of dirt but you can see it already. something strange but it is diamond and it could be that it is of very good quality in transparency. What other test could I do to confirm if it is a diamond. I need your help
