If you ever want to fix those broken petals on the fairy use, you can use Milliput to fix any chips and sculpt the missing part :) it just air dries, then you can paint it or put gloss on it to blend it in.

We have faerie, dragons, witchcraft, Egyptology and dollhouse books. I'd buy them for my children when they were young but secretly wanted them 😁 I still have them all. Definitely a child at heart. Loved the tealight house ❤️❤️ You found so many pretties 😍xx
See it great because you can buy things for your kids you’d want if you were a kid. That’s probably what I’ll do. I want to go all out and make a castle bed, with string lights and a fantasy mural 😍 I will play pretend and dress up with them and make them all the costumes! Lol my husband loves cosplay/costuming too so we’ll all be into it.
@@DressMeUpScotty that's what I did. I did a whole faerie forest theme, painted the walls and ceiling, made the curtains then I'd cut out scroll work on timber and attach it to their beds. My son had an underwater theme going on and I went crazy in there too. Octopus light fitting, one wall with the curtains looked like a cave and then when the curtains were opened the cave looked like an entrance. He's nearly 30 now and I'm still waiting for grandkids. I said that I want to be a young granny but him and his partner said another couple of years🙄 geesh!! Oh well I'm saying now that I'm collecting for my future grandkids 😁
Sort of related, I still live at home (I'm 23) and we still have old arts and crafts supplies and toys and games from when me and my brother were little. We keep them for when little kids come over and maybe for future kids of my own. I think about donating them but then I think what if...

The color of the straw hat is an amazing match to your coloring, especially when you wear the hat on the back of your head such that the brim creates a "halo" around your face.

I have all of the fairyopolis books. One has all of these gorgeous pop ups in it. Some even play music. I got the purple one as a gift from my aunt when I was 12 because I loved fairies.

All great stuff! My daughter is really into books as well and I bought her some of the floating book shelves from Amazon where you slide a book onto the shelf and that book hides the shelf, then you stack books on top of that so it looks like stacks of books are just attached to the wall. They’re beautiful, stacked with books that have pretty spines and it saves space on her bookshelf. You should look into them.

Well... 2023 is a "thrift vicariously through you" year.
Daughter and grandkids are moving into our big cave, so we have to finish the little cave for us.
So all money earned goes to the renovation.
I'm not complaining. I am very happy to have them here and to be able to help them.

I love this!! For that teapot frame- if it isnt heavier than 16 pounds, which i doubt it is lmao you could use command strips to hang it! i use those for nearly everything so i dont have to worry about drilling into my walls!

oh, my grandmom had that exact silver coloured tree with the dangling portraits! It had super old pictures of my mom and her brother. Damn now I feel nostalgic.

12:01 I bought that book for my daughter! She was 4.5 when I gave it to her, and she enjoyed it thoroughly, and I did too! I have the Monster version (my friends mom got it for me in high school, so sweet), and I also found the dragon one at my local thrift! They’re so much fun, and so entertaining! All the books you found are amazing!

I have that fairyopolis book too! I have a bunch of the -ology books that are in the same vein like Egyptology, dragonology, wizardology, etc. There's a fairyopolis 2 book that's just a pop up book that's really pretty too

I had a VERY similar fairy book that I got at like, Barns and Noble back in the day, and it was So Cute! It also had a window cling that I stuck on my bathroom mirror for a very long time... I wonder where the book is now...
Those Readers Digest books are amazing! I have an omnibus of the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy that looks very similar to those, and it's one of my favorite books I stole from my dad (which is also where I got the extended editions of the LoTR movies XD)
