- Come thrifting with me and my best friend at Goodwill. She came into town that day and we decided to stop by the thrift store at the last minute. Second half of the video is a haul of the things from that trip as well as a charity shop we went to later that weekend.

I love these videos. I get so excited for other when they find things that are unique and beautiful. But I inwardly cringed when the doublet pattern was described and a “medieval jacket” 😂. I hope the patten was in there though ❤.

7:24-7:29 that plaid looks lovely! If it was a wool I'd snatch it up so fast! It would be easy enough to adjust waist band and add a few pleats if it was a bit large.
I have to stay out of the clothing section at my thrift store, I spent over an hour yesterday just picking through the holiday stuff (it as suppose to just take 5 mins to grab some big colorful holiday candles I spotted before >.> ) I'd spend all day in there if I looked through the cloths (its so densely packed)!
Also love the phantom of the opera shirt! I took my mom's cd in the 90s/early 2000s and wore it out I replayed it so much!
edit (because hadn't finished watching the video yet): if you do regret that pumpkin candle holder I'm sure a few people (me included) would buy it. Also the pattern (very cool btw) if it's factory folded feels surprisingly thin before everything gets opened up for the first time.

Goodness! Most employers in this area start around at that pay but where we live the cost of living is super high (California) you can’t rent a shoebox for less than 1.5k a month. An apartment or a small house? Looking at promising your firstborn for that 😅😂
