Theorist, we are reaching the end of season one of the Loki Disney+ series. Before it ends, I have one more BIG prediction and I think I may have figured it all out. We all have been thinking that the series is building up to some reveal of Kang the Conqueror. The big question is WHO will it be? Well, he a variant of Kang.
Yeah the one we saw was immortus, which is the most powerful variant of kang. He is the most neutral of the Kangs and often fights and disagrees with kang the conquer. Long story short, she killed the wrong kang and now kang the conquer is unleashed on the multiverse.
He technically isn't Kang but saying that "that's Kang" is a lot shorter to say than "one of many alternate timeline versions of Nathaniel Richards which Kang is also one"
"Kang himself isn't really an interesting guy."
He says, and literally the day after Jonathan Majors comes in and blows everyone away with how cool and quirky and fun he made Kang.
Technically Kang the Conqueror will probably have a completely different personality to that variant of himself

Well, this didn't age well. Though Ravonna's fate is not clear from the episode, so still might become a powerful villain, though not Kang for sure.

@@DullEyes100 I’m just saying, 14 hours and it already started aging. That’s pretty fast. Marvels been known to deliver a slap in the face to matpat. Remember when we thought the soul stone was the BIG one? Or that there was any foreshadowing of it? Yeah, good times. And then I remembered a theory almost as infamous as Sans Is Ness, you know which one. When I was trying to think about how fast that one was thrown out the window by the collective internet, it brought me to negative numbers. Honestly though, how could you look at sonic full speed doing those loopdyloop things in the original game, and then look at MARIO in his original game, and say “Oh yeah! That’s one speedy plumber especially when compared to that blue hedgehog!” But this prediction was put on the bin pretty quickly.

MatPat has been right about a lot of these theories before, but I like the twist being Kang The Conqueror, so he can finally be Marvel's Big Bad

I just noticed, when Kang or "he who remains" says he weaponized the Alioth he means the reset charges. They reveal purple cloud as they activate.
That "sort of" makes sense except for the fact that all the matter pruned by the TVA's reset charges is sent to the void at end of the timeline to be consumed by Alioth. If the reset charges were like mini-Alioth bombs, then the branch timeline would get consumed right away without being transferred. Perhaps that purple release may be indicative of the reset device "destination"

It’s likely that Mat Pat didn’t know about this and just didn’t do adequate research before publishing a theory.

@@syntrx8185 think of it like this. Thanos is a universal level threat. He threatened the entire universe. Kang is a multiversal level threat. He threatens the entire multiverse. Whatever he does will likely be larger scale than Thanos. What I'm worried about it how early he has showed up in phase 4 and whether or not he'll be interesting as a character.

Interestingly enough, the Ancient One also describes a timeline when the Hulk asks for the Time Stone. This timeline also seems 'sacred' to her, saying she would defend it. She only gives the Hulk the Stone when she hears Doctor Strange has given it willingly to Thanos, probably knowing that her giving the stone to the Hulk has to be part of her 'sacred' 'timeline too.
I also came to the Kang conclusion, but I’d like to leave an observation here: the castle at the center of Alioth looks a lot like the home of Dr. Doom.

Half way into the first episode, my dad shouted out "The judge is gonna be the timekeepers!" I'm proud that his first instinct and lack of Marvel comic knowledge lines up with MatPat's weeks of actual research
'weeks'? try ~3 days... he had clips from episode 5, so unless he is an insider at marvel he started writing the script basically the same day as episode 5's release date

I think a better theory of MatPat’s is that Rensselaer is a *Variant* of Kang. That way you could tie in MatPat’s theory and the casting of Kang in Ant-mans upcoming movie.
I mean kang was even mentioned in the little show and tell thing that he was doing with the figurines when he talked about a Variant of himself that wanted to conquer the multiverse when they found out about the multiverse

Rensselaer is a character from the comics who allied with Kang. Even her real name from before she worked for the TVA in the show referenced an alias she used while working for Kang.

Proposed theory:
In Infinity War, Doctor Strange looked into the future and he saw over a million possibilities of how the battle against Thanos would go, right?
But if Kang had made the timeline to be exact and strictly perfect where even walking the wrong path to work would cause a nexus event, then how could Strange see any possibilities other than the one?
My personal opinion: Kang had placed multiple false visions in his head in order to keep the illusion of possibilities despite the fact that they were always going to defeat Thanos
Hehe, I like this theory.
Because Kang ran the scenarios, he knew what strange would do and let him see the various potential timeline and obviously knew he would choose the course for the one where they win. If anything happened to divert the timeline then the TVA would just reset things like they are supposed to.

What if this how they introduce him into the mcu? Where she is his puppet? Or rather using her as his start to a new means to an end. I doubt we are going to get a villain like Thanos, but we may get a billion who wants control. Or to the least his way to prevent chaos through control.

Kinda shocked how well this (somewhat) predicted the whole of season 2, even if its wasnt completely accurate and ravonna was more a tool to create kang rather than directly being kang. Until season 3 changes that?
In the animated version of "Avengers: Earth Mightiest Heroes", Kang was setup as an Iceman style villain trying to revive his kingdom and Wife by going through time to make sure nothing bad happens to his kingdom and by extension his wife. That could make him compelling, doing what it takes, no matter the cost, in order to keep his world and love from disappearing.
Honestly, I still prefer that show to the MCU.
“Avengers: Earth Mightiest Heroes” is by far my most favorite animated Marvel Shows!

Just because they have already cast Kang, doesn't mean that this version is gonna end up being called Kang. It's very possible that this is just their version of the Kang character but the "Kang" that we are used to from the comics is who is going to be in the next movie. Maybe it's like they are switching roles, like the Ravonna character takes the place of the Kang character and maybe now "Kang" is just a servant of Ravonna? Idk, that's just my theory based on what MatPat has thought up.
