Why is nobody talking about Herb?! He almost gave away the secret in episode 3 until Agnes stopped him, and suddenly he disappears for two episodes? I think someone intentionally got rid of him..
I have a feeling that Agnes is (Ag)atha Hark(nes)s and Mephisto is Evan Peter’s Pietro/Peter. He’s just disguised as Wanda’s brother just so she won’t expect it; as he is the X-Men version of the Pietro in AoU. Mephisto can also be Ralph. Idk this might get debunked since it’s just a theory. Agnes also wears witch shoes (when talking to Herb about Monica and her shushing him up about it). She also cackles like one. She might be the one that Norm was talking about; while we think it’s Wanda but it is actually Agatha Harkness/Agnes. No wonder Agnes conveniently has a dog house, doesn't care if the twins age up in front of her, pretends to not notice when wanda uses her powers in front of her and Sparky dies in her “rose bush”. That might have been a plot to get Wanda to revive Sparky so Vision could see that is what Wanda did to him, so he would live again. Also, notice how Agatha Harkness (AKA AGNES) literally said "Wanda" in episode 6 but like why point it out that its "Wanda" when its all Agatha? she was trying to make it like Wanda is the villian but she isn't. "People want to watch the Avengers pick out baby furniture." Why yes, a series about Tony and Pepper's happy 5 years together would be brilliant, thank you.
Yeah I hope they don’t do this like the writers for the Star Wars sequel trilogy did. When you become more obsessed with subverting expectations, and surprising viewers, you sacrifice the quality of the story. Considering the internet is so vast, I’m sure someone has already guessed the ending so the only way to make sure no one has guessed what will happen is by making the twists completely nonsensical, which would ruin the show. Personally, I think Sword are going to turn out to be secret villains (maybe they were doing tests with Vision’s body to make weapons or something like how Shield was doing with the Tesseract?). Wanda goes to recover his body and then they lock her in that warped reality, but somehow lose control of her (this could explain Wanda saying she doesn’t know how any of it started). Something just seems off to me about Sword.

Ok so, wanda can change reality, and her powers are red, guess what else is red? The red infinity stone which can also change reality, basically she's a living breathing infinity stone.
Little spoiler for Monica. Read at discretion in case you wanna keep waiting for it to be explained in the show. Cause in the comics Monica is a mutant who goes by the name "Photon". In WandaVision, they gave that nickname to her mom, idk why, guess we'll figure that out later. Anyways, Monica's mutant power is that she can manipulate electromagnetic waves, like X-rays, UV rays, microwaves, etc.
@@sagescribe_ Yeah, I remembered that she was a mutant but couldn't remember her "hero name". When I saw her go through the barrier and her vision showed those magnetic fields, I realised they were setting her up as a "mutant" (or inhuman, whatever they decide to call her and her powers).
I always found it funny when Agnes said “Geraldine doesn’t have a family” to show that she wasn’t originally a part of westview, but we’ve never once seen “Ralph” have we? I still think its Agnes and possibly someone else, not just entirely Wanda
Wanda's logic. 'Everyone I love is dead, so I'll make my own quarantine bubble and bring back the people I lost while entertaining the world by making it a sitcom. What could go wrong?'
anyone remember when Elizabeth did an interview when age of Ultron came out and said House or M was her favorite and it would be cool if marvel did that, then said they prolly wouldn't cuz it's dark for marvel. 👁👄👁 She called it 6 years ago
I realized that Vision confronting Wanda is really the first time we see him angry. He doesn't understand and she is refusing to help him while knowingly holding him and others hostage. She is breaking his mechanical heart. He is starting to see just how powerful she is and how much of a villain she can be.
ok adding on to this theory- vision is truly a computer, a robot, so his body wouldn’t decompose so like matpat said she could be puppeteering his body. BUT if this is her perfect reality, where is her brother? pietro is a real person and has actually died, his body is gone and decomposed. all the people of west view are real and alive, therefore are able to exist in this reality. and since vision stays a lifeless shell of a computer. his body stays how it was, therefore explaining why pietro is not there.
Spoiler alert he does appear later on ep 6 I believe in the halloween ep but he is actually the x-men quicksilver and not wanda's actual brother. Many people wonder if this means wanda stole that quicksilver from the x-men universe creating a crack on the multiverse and leading us to doctor strange: multiverse of madness... Also here's the clip if you want proof: ua-cam.com/video/VGFQVGwIWfY/v-deo.html
Well she might of accepted that he is dead so if she brought it back to life later then it will make her realize this is all fake and will brake and find out she killed multiple people
fun fact: it's a real toaster (I have the same model) and those engravings don't actually show as 9 or 6 shapes. Looks more like a fish, but one side of the design uses three lines, the other only one, so it doesn't show up as clearly. Extra fact: Actually does burn toast. Or barely toast it. Incredibly inconsistent
Im done with China's blatant censorship..😤 can we all and together and cancel China on twitter lol. I just want good Marvel movies with magic and witchcraft.. I thought Disney wouldn't fall this low but it seems they can. Lol no wonder Marvel' can't match DC' Dark universe for its lore and magic. DC is just good & wayy ahead of China' owned Marvel 👏
Honestly, I am on board with this. Great job with the research! :) Couple SUPER minor nitpicks though. Agatha Harkness isn't a servant of Mephisto in the comics. She's a good guy through and through and actually worked to destroy Mephisto. Second, Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver aren't Magneto's kids, but that was a recent development and after decades of continuity saying otherwise, it makes total sense that everyone still thinks it's true. The Maximoff's parentage is one of the most stupidly convoluted things in all of comics. Great stuff all around, comic nerds (like me) are just annoying and pedantic. 😅
To thurther explain, agatha may not have worked directly with mephisto but she definitely didn't work against him, she just acted as like a mentor to Wanda, this can be seen when she calms Wanda down when she is told that her children are fragments of mephisto's soul. Wanda and pietro are in fact not children of magnus (magneto) but are in fact products of the high evolutionary. When Wanda cursed her family magneto was not affected.
Just finished watching this several months later. Give Met a C+. You’re right about Agatha, right about vision dying, right about scarlet witch getting more powerful and being alone. That said her version of vision is able to transfer some of his memories into a new copy. It’s not the same vision but at the same time he’s not dead.
Because of the last episode (6) I am thinking that the reason Wanda created this world is to protect Vision. Vision's body was in sword being disected and examined. What if sword was trying to use vision or take advantage of him in someway. That would explain why the director dude is so intent on killing wanda and tracking vision. Wanda would know sword's secret from when she broke into the lab to save them.
Makes sense. *SPOILER IF YOU'RE NOT CAUGHT UP* Also to point out when vision was trying to break through, the s.w.o.r.d agents were just standing there knowing he would die soon. Then Wanda new he would die so expanded the barrier to save him and keep him alive.
@@Undead_Queen True, they were just watching and Director dude just said something like "He really wants to get out of there" like they were surprised he wouldn't want to hide from them. He lost his memory so it makes since but I think he might get his memory back in the next episode because of his contact with the outside world. In the trailers he ends up protect west view with wanda. What would make him change his mind except for the return of his memory?
Since Wanda never stole Visions body, I think there will be a showdown of the vision that she created and the OG vision. Also, there will be a showdown with Agatha and Photon (for those who don't know that's Monica) and Wanda.
And now there’s that one line from Agnes “do you want me to start over?” She’s the only one who’s done that, she seems to have her own free will unlike very one else who is “trapped”
Actually, Herbert says the same thing in episode 6 when Wanda asks him about Vision and the Watch. He asks if she needs him, implying that he’s also aware.
The conclusion I've reached after Ep 6 is that everyone is to an extent 'aware' of what's happening, case in point the poor woman at the outskirts of town, moving in a very slow repeating pattern as if in autopilot, but still managing to shed a tear. They described Wanda's control as horrible and 'invasive'. It also seems that the longer this reality goes the more she's losing control, suddenly her "actors" are not following the script flawlessly
They all know it's fake, they all know they are following a "script," but they can't resist it. Vision is able to temporarily free them from it. She is behaving as if she is an actor because they all are, they just don't have a choice. They are compelled to act in this show. And when they are "offstage," they can't do anything, but they remain entirely aware, trapped in their own frozen bodies. It's honestly a goddamn nightmare.
watching this three years later after being a huge wandavision fan, i am SHOCKED at how much matpat got right, bc honestly there was so much i missed even tho i watched wandavision like seven times all the way through, he did an amazing job of theorizing and predicted so much so well that i'm glad he retired bc he deserves a long vacation for working so hard!! incredible work to the whole theorizers crew frfr
Theory: What if when Wanda had to destroy the mind stone, the explosion gave her more of its powers. Think about it, it wouldn’t be the first time something like that has happened in the MCU. When Captain Marvel was hit with an energy blast from the Tesseract, she became the most powerful hero in the MCU, so if an energy blast from the Tesseract gave her all that power, imagine what the explosion of the mind stone would do to Wanda, someone who already had some of its power. That would explain why she seemingly has more power than ever before and answer the question “How did she bring back Vision without the mind stone”. Easy answer, she is the mind stone.
Also: Yes, the fact that Thanos reversed time might nullify this theory, but I really don’t think that the power of an infinity stone (one of six extremely powerful rocks that keep the universe in balance) would be controlled by time.
@@carolinedixon2260 I don't think its being controlled by time, but if you think about the way that Bruce explains time travel as essentially travelling down a separate timeline/reality, that theory doesn't make sense. As soon as Thanos used the time stone, their reality was set down a path where Wanda never destroyed the mind stone and the reality where Wanda did destroy it was completely separate. The mind stone can't give Wanda power if it wasn't in contact with her again in the reality they created when Thanos used the time stone. But maybe it could work in another way, I don't know.
Vision doesn't even know what an avenger is at this point and he's naturally a HERO. Someone that will/did sacrifice himself for others without thinking twice about it. What an amazing Marvel character and I really enjoy Paul Bettany playing him. He gives great passion and keeps the audience engaged. Great show! I'm hooked and can't wait till episode 7! ❤️
I never thought I’d like Vision this much! I only really got into Marvel because of my brother, and I remember going to the movies, watching Vision die, and assuming that I’d just care more once I saw everything (I should also say that now that I’ve been watching everything, seeing End Game and Infinity War first definitely dampened the experience, lol). But to my disappointment, Vision never grew on me or had me all that interested like some of the more prominent characters did. But NOW? I feel like Marvel, WandaVision, and Paul Bettany especially, are really doing their part to give him more, well, character. (For real though, Bettany’s acting was downright stunning in episode 5). Now I’m crazy invested in seeing whether or not he’ll survive the show (I think not but I can always dream), what he’ll remember and if/when, if he’ll build new relationships, if he’ll see any of the remaining avengers, and so much more.
I don't understand why so many people like their government's extreme control to that degree like that. It's like a super strict and abusive parent and kids (the citizens) with stockholm syndrome
I think that the hints towards Wanda being the villain is also a misdirect which is further supported by how this show has now blatantly said that "it's all Wanda"
Definitely a misdirect, marvel loves those. I also hope it is, I think making her a villain in the mcu would be a loss for the franchise. seeing her corrupted and crazy might be cool for a while but it would eventually have to end when she is defeated.
Here's a question I still have: Where is Hawkeye in her story? He pep talked her into the life and her brother sacrificed himself to protect Clint. If anyone would be an influence or rock of support, it should be Clint. Shouldn't it?
I know it's not about this show, but Wanda's dusting in Infinity War always makes me cry the most. The fact that she doesn't even resist, no pained screams, no talking to other characters around her. She feels what's happening, and would rather have that be her fate than live on Earth without Vision.
The worst part about all this is She got dusted. This is still fresh for her. Everyone else got to be reunited with loved ones and she has to look at visions corpse.
I honestly think it's so cute like honestly I really want Vision to come back and if not I want Wanda and Agness to get together though I don't think Disney would do that because that wouldn't sell in China.
@@MrTroll-tg4pc I loved the first 2 episodes they where really fun I honestly kinda hated the 4th episode because it explained everything and ruined the freak out moments in the first 3 episodes.
Although it does bring back the idea of agness being or working for Mephisto sense it seems like she wasn’t mind controlled and is just a “partner” of Wanda helping her out when she needs it.
Picture this: Wanda has everything falling apart, vision is about to help S.W.O.R.D. stop the whole bubble. she is a wreck, just sitting in a wreck of a home, probably trying to stop vision from helping the outside. She is crying into her hands until he appears. "Don't you just wish you could live a normal life, free of drama, world stopping immortals, to raise your twins? You could do that, that is the power of a deal..."
Correction: She kinda not alone as Clint stands as his father-figure. He was the one to convince Wanda to be part of the avengers, helped to get out of her detainment in Civil War, and comfort her after the events of Endgame during the funeral of Tony Stark.
Well they kind of had to, at least at the beginning, because all of the more popular characters at the time (the Fantastic Four, the X-Men, Spider-Man, etc) were all licensed to other studios.
“She’s aligned with Falcon of all people? That makes no sense!” Falcon was on the team fighting alongside Wanda ever since Ultron was defeated, they’ve been friends for years at that point
That accent she is doing is actually called a mid Atlantic Accent it’s an accent actors used to use (think Katherine Hepburn and Kelsey Grammar as Frasier) it’s quite a cute nod to it not being real.
@@vivanagomez2381 sure! I hope you’ve watched episode 5, otherwise these are spoilers!
Ok so, wanda can change reality, and her powers are red, guess what else is red? The red infinity stone which can also change reality, basically she's a living breathing infinity stone.
Technically yea, but she has a part of the mind stone in her, with which she created "fake" vision
@@vijaypatil3276 i dont think that vision is fake since the mindstone is a part of vision.
I guess doctor Strange is a living Time, Stone, Reality, Soul, Mind and Power stone. Haha.
Another two points confirmed in episode 7:
-Agnes is Agatha
-Monica appears to have received powers after re-entering the barrier unaltered.
What if Ralph is Mafisto?

strangely, its the most human Vision has ever been in these movies

I watched this 2 weeks ago and this video was just plain spoilers with how accurate it is
ok adding on to this theory-
vision is truly a computer, a robot, so his body wouldn’t decompose so like matpat said she could be puppeteering his body.
BUT
if this is her perfect reality, where is her brother?
pietro is a real person and has actually died, his body is gone and decomposed. all the people of west view are real and alive, therefore are able to exist in this reality. and since vision stays a lifeless shell of a computer. his body stays how it was, therefore explaining why pietro is not there.

Honestly, I am on board with this. Great job with the research! :)
Couple SUPER minor nitpicks though.

Yo drake is here love your videos too man
Just finished watching this several months later.
*SPOILER IF YOU'RE NOT CAUGHT UP*
Also to point out when vision was trying to break through, the s.w.o.r.d agents were just standing there knowing he would die soon.
True, BUT, episode 7 (no spoilers) is just twisted and a big plot twist happens that gets your heart raising

Nice theory
@@carolinedixon2260 I don't think its being controlled by time, but if you think about the way that Bruce explains time travel as essentially travelling down a separate timeline/reality, that theory doesn't make sense. As soon as Thanos used the time stone, their reality was set down a path where Wanda never destroyed the mind stone and the reality where Wanda did destroy it was completely separate. The mind stone can't give Wanda power if it wasn't in contact with her again in the reality they created when Thanos used the time stone. But maybe it could work in another way, I don't know.
The real theory is in the comments
Well they did show her touching the mind stone again in the trailer so its possible she gets a hold of it again and does just this.

@@lizzieedwards8607 just finished watching twd, but that lizzie carol scene still haunts me everytime i see "lizzie". Nvm it's a strange thing to say
Episode 2’s intro actually hints at Wanda transforming Westview, as she goes to the Westview sign and turns it into WandaVision
ua-cam.com/video/rqAv_UgavDs/v-deo.html......
I always thought it was creepy that the townspeople were all singing the song for them... it felt really ominous
Watching this after the whole show is released. "Um...MatPat, do you have a mole inside Disney or something?"
MattPatt, you're wrong. It's not, "No more mutants." It's, "No, MORE mutants!"
ua-cam.com/video/rqAv_UgavDs/v-deo.html...
Oh they got this all screwed up, eradicates mutants? No! More mutants.
Correction: She kinda not alone as Clint stands as his father-figure. He was the one to convince Wanda to be part of the avengers, helped to get out of her detainment in Civil War, and comfort her after the events of Endgame during the funeral of Tony Stark.
Wooooooooooooow, reallyyy?
now the question is, where is Clint?
@@bored_potato probably with his family
Yeah but Scarlet Witch’s actual dad is Magneto
@@mcoreotims2509 they meant "father figure".
It's exiting to see how Marvel uses their older characters that aren't normally seen in Marvel's modern films.
ua-cam.com/video/rqAv_UgavDs/v-deo.html..
Lol
I can imagine them using Ghost Rider
Well they kind of had to, at least at the beginning, because all of the more popular characters at the time (the Fantastic Four, the X-Men, Spider-Man, etc) were all licensed to other studios.
@@YayaFeiLong Some of them made it to Sony's Marvel Universe
Wow coming back to this video make me want to believe everything you said
“She’s aligned with Falcon of all people? That makes no sense!”
Falcon was on the team fighting alongside Wanda ever since Ultron was defeated, they’ve been friends for years at that point
He was on her section of the team with Nat in Lagos, ffs! They were on the run together!

@Isaiah Stovall
:( You ruuuuined it
That accent she is doing is actually called a mid Atlantic Accent it’s an accent actors used to use (think Katherine Hepburn and Kelsey Grammar as Frasier) it’s quite a cute nod to it not being real.

Just me who noticed that the S.W.O.R.D. base is a hexagonal shape?
Omfg your right
@@toni4157 me too
It's kinda a hexagon, so i'll accept it.
You need to work for Marvel. Right. Now. Lol
Everybody
Bro watching this post Multiverse of Madness and jeez MatPat was close
It’s crazy how many things MatPat predicted in this video that we’re revealed in ep 5!!
Can you tell me what? I’m really lost here
@@vivanagomez2381 sure! I hope you’ve watched episode 5, otherwise these are spoilers! He predicted Wanda’s visit to S.W.O.R.D to retrieve Vison’s remains (when he was talking about the hexagons) and about how Wanda has pretty much closed in the town and is controlling other people (when he was talking about how the other characters looked scared etc) and these were pretty key factors to predict knowing how he wrote this video during episode 3 mostly, which by then we hadn’t had any of the key plot lines that happened in episode 4 and 5. Those are the ones I remember off by heart, but if you’d like go watch episode 5 and then come rewatch this, it’ll make a lot more sense that way!! 😄
@@Iloshhh.h I thought those were already well-known facts revealed beforehand....?
@@Iloshhh.h Uh have you watched any other youtubers theories? Almost everyone who has been breaking down Wandavision has come to the conclusion that Wanda stole visions body way before MatPat did. I'm not saying he stole the idea just saying it's a very common idea everyone has been talking about
@@njay4399 did u even read his comment?hes talking about how matpat predicted the fact that wanda visited the office, saw hexagon shape, and her mind has used that for the transitions, meamwhile it stays a hint for use on who the real vilian may actually be...
She's going to see visions grave, and then she's gonna blink, and she's gonna be at Tony Stark's funeral
I watched this before wandavision and after. This is not a theory, it just plain spoilers. That is how accurate he is.
I know right??? like how tf?!?!!??!
I came back to watch this after episode 7
Exactly why I waited until after the last episode to watch it lmao
lol yea im wacthing this after episode 8
ALSO HE WAS RIGHT ABOUT THE HEXAGON IN THE NEW DUDES OFFICE OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG
im watching after season finale
I hate what they did with Evan Peters but i absolutely loved that finale
Hey guys, I noticed something weird while watching episode 6 just now. See, I'm watching it on a computer with headphones, right? But every time Billy or Tommy speak, it's always in different ears. One of them speaks through the left while the other speaks through the right, no matter what the camera angle. It doesn't happen for anyone else or any other characters. Billy and Tommy speak through they're sides of the earphone. Thought that could be something interesting to look into
Just sound design I think
If that's true, that's definitely interesting. Let's just say that I ..uhm.. didn't watch it on Disney+, so that might be why I didn't hear the stereo difference. Kinda weird because stereo sound is generally preserved.
@@comradepeter87 same lol
"Just the devil whispering in your ear(s)"
Well. I'll definitely be re-watching that with headphones on
Wanda’s “No More Mutants” moment will be her saying “For The Children”
“For the children”
*literally obliterates everyone*
I heard someone suggest that she'd say: "No, more mutants."
As in. 'No. I want there to be more mutants'
But I think it's far fetched. It would be cool. But it's too out there.
No More Multiverse.
@@alinalikesbooks3978 haha not anymore. never had a comment get over 100 this is cool haha
@@ryanpeacock9004 definitely a little too hammy.
So in the second episode, they say “For the children” but there aren’t any children in Westview
Why do you think this is? It's pretty weird to state a well known fact and not give a claim as to why you think this is a part of the show.
@@jaylinfletcher5084 I am just spitting conspiracies, that is all
They're are children, Wanda only writes them into the story when she wants to, for example in episode 6
Not until now
despite the recent episode showing trapped kids in westview, i think that "for the children" is because wanda bargained for her happy ending (westview) by agreeing to give whatever larger power (my guess is mephisto) children. that's why her births are real and pietro calls the twins "demon spawn" in episode 6
The fact that he had such an accurate theory is just so cool to me
