So glad to hear the backstory of how your channel was named! We have 5 generations of Irene’s in my family! I started watching about 3 years ago as we anticipated our retirement and purchasing our first RV to travel the US. We chose a 29 ft. Grand Design Imagine tow trailer and love it! Our Christmas dinner consisted of a pork loin, roasted in our teeeeny oven! It takes some time to master it! I threw in some asparagus spears alongside it the last 25 minutes. It was accompanied by baby Yukon gold smashed Parmesan potatoes and raw broccoli salad. We use the black stone a lot in warmer weather. We woke this morning to a snow fall of 10 inches! In western Washington! Never a dull moment RVing! Wishing you both a super 2022!

My wife became interested and we look forward to all of your videos as we continue our search for an RV. We refer to you as “the kids” (our daughters are about your age) and my wife is always asking when your next UA-cam is. I put it on the big screen TV and we sit back and drink a cup of coffee while living vicariously through your travels. We look forward to getting our own RV soon and traveling the country and enjoying our retirement. Christmas Day for dinner I have a Traeger Ranger smoker I did a pork rack roast and also in the smoker a small pan of little potatoes with olive oil salt & pepper. Then in my RV propane oven I baked green bean casserole. We are doing the left overs the next night for dinner. Sooo good!!! Merry Christmas to you both!!!

My son and his lady made fortune cookies. On the paper inside each cookie was a lead to a gift or coal! LoL plus the cookies were cooked perfect with very nice designs made of candy and chocolate dipped on one side. Plus lasagna, pineapple upside-down cake and some down strong and good homemade eggnog. My granddaughter's middle name is Irene, named after her great grandmother, and I have another granddaughter with a middle name of Eileen, named after my sister. I have another sister named Christine! So, I love the name Irene Iron even more now!
Christine Irene. You told me in a comment long ago, so I already knew, but thanks for the update to the unenlightened. We are full time hoboes now, so we spent Christmas at our daughters house. I smoked two chickens and a ham. But my daughter's chocolate bundt cake stole the show.
Merry Christmas guys! We camped at Williamsburg KOA for Christmas and cooked on the blackstone Steak Rib Eye, green beans and carrots, and used the instant pot to bake potatoes - delicious! :o)
Merry Christmas! You two look great! My husband is the cook and wanted to do a smorgasbord this year. We had a ham from a small town meat market, penne ala vodka and rouladen along with several sides. I baked cookies and raspberry pretzel dessert. We had lots of food to send home with the kids. We had a great time. Oh yea- we had monkey bread in the morning and chicken wings and charcuterie board for lunch. We are planning to do 30 days of whole food eating in January.
Merry Christmas! We were able to spend the day with our 2 grand daughters ages 4-1/2 and 2-1/2 playing, story telling, etc. Dinner time was a combined effort of a variety of boiled potatoes, crispy kale, a sautéed vinegary kale, broiled brussels sprouts, salmon cooked on a cast iron skillet on the grill and a very fine French Pinot Noir to top it off. Great day for all.

I use my propane oven every time we camp, I roast chicken, make meatloaf, cornbread, everything bakeable ☺️ for Christmas dinner we had ham and a roast and I made shrimp scampi for myself. Roasted root veggies, kale salad and green beans almondine and rolls. It was delicious!!

I put 2 slices of bread in the bottom of my air fryer then I clamp in the basket. It catches the grease from the bacon and it is easy clean up. We also make pizza in our air fryer. We like you guys love, love our air fryer.

Had a relative in the hospital for the past 10 days. Been really happy with the class B life! I'd run the generator for a few hours a day since I have no solar, and even cooked a full Christmas dinner using my 1 burner stove and microwave.

Happy New Year! I got an air fryer for Christmas, and am really enjoying it. I made Skinnytaste’s Chicken Chimichangas for New Year’s Eve in the air fryer, and reheated the leftovers for dinner tonight. Both came out nice and crisp. There’s a recipe for cinnamon rolls from scratch in the Cosori air fryer recipe book . . . I wonder if you could make Pillsbury’s refrigerated cinnamon rolls in the air fryer? It would certainly heat up quicker than your oven!

I make homemade cinnamon rolls and creamed eggs over toast every Christmas morning. I make homemade lasagna and homemade herb and garlic bread for Christmas Eve.
A traditional holiday drink for me/us is my "Aunt Alice's Chocolate Milk" (aka Brandy Alexander). Her version is soooo simple: 1-2-3 parts (Brandy, Kahlua and half-half -- or some heavy cream). Soooo yummy; it'll always be my holiday drink! Y'all Be Safe!
We have what we call komla. It is potato dumplings cooked in ham stock. Some call it klub. Then for the next couple breakfasts we fry it in butter with the ham slices. Certainly not a fitness menu!
We love watching your videos. I thought I'd pass along that you can use your airfryer to make your cinnamon rolls right in the basket. That way you won't heat up your oven. You also can use metal baking pans that fit in you basket to bake things also. It's such a handy little tool because it really just a table top convection oven. Hi y'all Hubby and I have been in quarantine since Wednesday. Both of us are down with the flu. It's chicken soup for me. Hubby made his annual prime rib roast. I stuck with soup. We normally do seafood for new years eve. I make a rocking Maryland crab cake and crab soup. Hubby is from new England so he makes the lobster. This year it might be just crab soup. Depends on how long this flu sticks around. Happy Holidays. 😁

FYI...we are still liking our BougeRV fridge that we saw you guys use in one of your videos. It's working really well for us. And speaking of mushrooms, I made a sauteed mushroom, red onion and asparagus dish. Just a little olive oil, salt and pepper and then added some wine to spiced it up. We do a stuffed beef tenderloin for Christmas, stuffed with a mix of spinach, onions, mushroom, garlic, cilantro, salt, pepper and either Gouda or Gruyere cheese. Sooooo good! I would post pic but don’t know how in comments. Oh and thanks for the “Irene” explanation! Merry Christmas.

Hello Chris and Aaron!! We usually do a mega sized Winter Solstice gathering for friends and neighbors. But, we held off from that again this year. Then we do a Christmas Eve fondue gathering. This year, it was me, my wife, son visiting from Colorado Springs, and my wife's mom and step dad. The fondue is beef, pork, raw broccoli and cauliflower and bread ; we use both peanut oil and melted cheese. Today was bbq ribs, cheesy grits, and ultimate green bean casserole. So....it isn't a good week to keep control of the blood sugars!! But...Sir Remington M24 of the San Juan Mountains, aka Remy, will make sure I hop back onto the bandwagon very soon!! Very funny....I was thinking to contact you to see if you have used your oven and if it achieved the temperatures you had selected hehehehe. We used to do those same home made cinnamon buns. Gave those up in August :-( Thank you for this great video! It is awesome to see you two so happy in your new rig!! And...it sure beats the tent for daily living!! Ha....we had the same Yule Log tv thing going last night and today!! Merry Christmas to you two! Safe travels!

Had a relative in the hospital for the past 10 days. Been really happy with the class B life! I'd run the generator for a few hours a day since I have no solar, and even cooked a full Christmas dinner using my 1 burner stove and microwave.

Happy New Year! I got an air fryer for Christmas, and am really enjoying it. I made Skinnytaste’s Chicken Chimichangas for New Year’s Eve in the air fryer, and reheated the leftovers for dinner tonight. Both came out nice and crisp.
There’s a recipe for cinnamon rolls from scratch in the Cosori air fryer recipe book . . . I wonder if you could make Pillsbury’s refrigerated cinnamon rolls in the air fryer? It would certainly heat up quicker than your oven!

I make homemade cinnamon rolls and creamed eggs over toast every Christmas morning. I make homemade lasagna and homemade herb and garlic bread for Christmas Eve.

A traditional holiday drink for me/us is my "Aunt Alice's Chocolate Milk" (aka Brandy Alexander). Her version is soooo simple: 1-2-3 parts (Brandy, Kahlua and half-half -- or some heavy cream). Soooo yummy; it'll always be my holiday drink!

We have what we call komla. It is potato dumplings cooked in ham stock. Some call it klub. Then for the next couple breakfasts we fry it in butter with the ham slices. Certainly not a fitness menu!
I made mushroom wellington for myself for Christmas. It is easy to make smaller portions so perfect for solo people or couples!

We love watching your videos. I thought I'd pass along that you can use your airfryer to make your cinnamon rolls right in the basket. That way you won't heat up your oven. You also can use metal baking pans that fit in you basket to bake things also. It's such a handy little tool because it really just a table top convection oven. Happy New Year and enjoy your air fryer.

Hubby and I have been in quarantine since Wednesday. Both of us are down with the flu. It's chicken soup for me. Hubby made his annual prime rib roast. I stuck with soup. We normally do seafood for new years eve. I make a rocking Maryland crab cake and crab soup. Hubby is from new England so he makes the lobster. This year it might be just crab soup. Depends on how long this flu sticks around. Happy Holidays. 😁

FYI...we are still liking our BougeRV fridge that we saw you guys use in one of your videos. It's working really well for us. And speaking of mushrooms, I made a sauteed mushroom, red onion and asparagus dish. Just a little olive oil, salt and pepper and then added some wine to spiced it up. We do a stuffed beef tenderloin for Christmas, stuffed with a mix of spinach, onions, mushroom, garlic, cilantro, salt, pepper and either Gouda or Gruyere cheese. Sooooo good! I would post pic but don’t know how in comments. Oh and thanks for the “Irene” explanation! Merry Christmas.

Hello Chris and Aaron!! We usually do a mega sized Winter Solstice gathering for friends and neighbors. But, we held off from that again this year. Then we do a Christmas Eve fondue gathering. This year, it was me, my wife, son visiting from Colorado Springs, and my wife's mom and step dad. The fondue is beef, pork, raw broccoli and cauliflower and bread ; we use both peanut oil and melted cheese. Today was bbq ribs, cheesy grits, and ultimate green bean casserole. So....it isn't a good week to keep control of the blood sugars!! But...Sir Remington M24 of the San Juan Mountains, aka Remy, will make sure I hop back onto the bandwagon very soon!!
Very funny....I was thinking to contact you to see if you have used your oven and if it achieved the temperatures you had selected hehehehe. We used to do those same home made cinnamon buns. Gave those up in August :-(
