Yeah it’s not an exaggeration to say he has 10-15x more product on his shelf’s than every computer store in my city. And that’s before the component shortage.

I totally get this. Felt the same way with SloMoGuys when they made those big production videos with UA-cam. Lost all of the "you and us only", seat of the pants, in my parents' garage feel. However, for this kinda stuff I sometimes lean the other way. I have a lot of stuff to do and like the efficiency of some of those filler bits being removed. I think a good balance can be struck somewhere with the editing.

The real reason that GPU prices are so high: Major brands thinking that they have product in the inventory, but in reality their product branding and marketing managers sent it to Kyle and he never reviewed it...
Jokes aside, this has to be the most realistic PC build I have seen on UA-cam. It includes unboxing all the parts, realising you had no idea if they were suitable until you went to build, the "Arrrghs!" and associated frustrated sounds before constructing something that Kyle himself would roast mercilessly. You cant get more real than that.

no matter how many pcs you've built, it never gets old seeing something you put together yourself turn on and just work
Unboxing is definitely more inclusive to the experience especially when you're commentating your opinions as to why you like the products or why you don't. Doing an awesome job Kyle.
Unboxing as I usually have question about what's in the box (extra cables, brackets, screws, fans etc) and seeing it opened for 30 seconds gives me confidence that my setup will work.

When i wanted to remove a cooler last week ofcourse the cpu (3800X) came with it out of the socket.. and when trying to remove the CPU from the cooler i dropped it "Linus style'.
Luckily only 2 pins where slightly bent and i could bent them back using the socket.

For these vlog-style videos, I feel that seeing the unboxing adds to the experience. When you add to the bottom, I'd like to see if you can fit any fans at the bottom as well as a GPU.
It adds to the experience. It doesn't really bother me either way Kyle if you show yourself unboxing it or edited to have them unboxed.
I like seeing the components come out of the box. Closer to the experience.

I'm pretty sure the reason why the CPU temps are high is due to the fact that when you did the push pull for the aio, the fans at the back were intake while the fans in the front were exhuast. If you fix that, by making all the fans intake, it should improve temps.

Hearing you talk about getting a bad application of thermal paste after lifting the heatsink after applying makes me think I've never done it right because I can never get those AMD clamps right on the first try.
I prefer to see you struggle and open the boxes. Also, Its just nice to see whats inside thebox when you first open it, it helps to just see what its like inside the box. A lot of unboxings just skip that part.
- vertical mount a gpu for each system. aio on upper one (rearmount)
- 360mm aio for atx system (topmount), 280mm aio for itx system (frontmount)
- max out every slot as much as you can, fill all sata ports all ram slots all pcie slots all i/o headers etc
- rgb fans all spots if possible
