I remember a video where he gave us a tour of his home and it was filled with books on every topic out there. That video inspired me to expand my reading interests & which helped me understand the world better. A great & wise man, indeed! ❤️
Mors is proving that a single candle will allow you to navigate at night yet companies are trying to convince consumers that a 200 lumen headlamp is needed for midnight bathroom runs while camping. Thank you Karamat for continuing to put out great content from a great instructor.
I'm not a bushcraft guy but I enjoyed watching Mors. What first caught me years back as a random video in my recommended feed was how much he reminded me of my grandfather. Been watching ever since, sad he's left us.

Thank you to the karamat team from here in the UK, Mors will be missed, but you will keep his legacy alive, shame you are so far away. Love and best wishes to you all. Nige.
Great stuff ! Thumbs up here for stearin candles. Renewable, not fossil-fuel.. (Also, candle fans should try and find a Swiss army folding candle lantern.)
He mentioned IKEA. actuallt possible to find ok bushcraft kit or parts at ikea, expensive, heavy, bulky, not purpose made for task but... their "ordning" becomes a ok bushcraft biofuel burner with minimal work, 2x3m tarp, is bit heavy (1.6kg)...
We have had a lot of people ask this question. I have asked our instructors and one of them sent me this answer. It is the best we can do. "I believe it is an older version of the British Army Thermal Smock. It definitely looks British in design to me. So many of these small companies would pop up to make equipment for the military. You can tell it is a nylon with some sort of synthetic polyester insulation. Those style were worn under the canvas smock they wore to be a insulation layer. Also pack down small and be light weight. I will try to track down the exact make. If I do I will send it to you. "
@@Karamat so I did a but of research an the brits never had a thermal with a fixed hood like the one on mors anorak.. the white lining is also never been seen in British military. Any chance it’s Canadian military??
Even though Mors is gone...
His teachings live on!
He will always be remembered.
Thank you Kelly and the Karamat Team for posting these videos.

@@StirlingLighthouse Yep. First time I ever seen myself in the mirror.
Long live Mors teachings! Thanks for uploading these videos Randy
There's always a new clip I haven't seen. Love it!
Mors, you were a numinous source of light in this cold, dark world
Gives reasonable light cheaper and more packable than most other fuels. Thanks for keeping the ideas of Mors available to outdoorsmen!
Thank you for sharing Mr. Kochanski's heritage with us!
Stay safe and have fun!

We need a Kochansky foundation to contribute to for helping spread bushcraft knowledge.

Thank you for continuing to upload content. He was a legend, sadly I never had a chance to meet Mors, but he changed my life.
For me The Godfather of Bushcraft, thanks to you all for still sharing his knowledge with us, Taro
Hi Taro!!! :>)>
I’m going to miss that guy 😞
Enjoyed that a lot. Kinda sad, but the blooper at the end put a big smile on my face! So awesome that y'all continue to share Mors' knowledge. Thanks!
Always good to see an hear from a legend like Mors but to learn in the process is priceless.

A valuable lesson in the "blooper" at the end. There are always variables to contend with, and you just deal with them.

Thanks for sharing these, hopefully there plenty left.
Mors is definitely missed.
Being able to tell the difference between a useful, long lasting candle and a decorative candle is very handy indeed. Thanks.
I love these films...thanks again for sharing 👍
Awesome!
That was great Ima still learnning
Bubling candle is also fastest way to travel.
You can get a carbide lamp and cans of carbide through Lehman's Hardware Online
Lovely video, the legend lives on through film. Anyone tell me what is the brand name of the SMOCK he is wearing?
What brand are those steering candles?
He mentioned IKEA.
