I used to make bannock since I was a teenager at home. When I went hiking, I used to prepare pouches (before ziplock bags) with flour, salt and baking soda in the right portions and closed the plastic bags with rubberbands. Each pouch was for one bannock and fit perfectly into my backpack. At camp, you just add water, you knead the dough in the bag and simply poured it out into the frying pan. I didn't have a lid, so I simply turned the bannock half way with the fork. Little bit less complicated with more control... still one of my favorite foods, approaching 50 next year. At home... add some sunny side eggs on top of it... delicious! :)

I am of the same mind as kevin thanks and please keep them coming. It will probably be the closest I will ever come to to getting to take one of Mors' classes.
Bannock will forever be associated, to me, with Ray Mears & Mors Kochanski. When I next bake some bannock while camping, I will give thanks to & say a prayer for Mors.
I do an indian fry bread It's more like a Savory bread, I add Garlic powder, Italian seasoning, Black pepper, maybe a little bacon bits for added flavor but man its good.
