I,ve been watching this kind of teaching videos in the last couple of days but nether any of them was so understandable and clean like this. I wana start streaming in the near future on my MacBook playing on ipad cod mobile. but I couldnt set the obs whatever i tried. cuz I just made a mess with downloading bunch of files apps ect. but nothing worked on obs. now i know how to do this right. Having an issue where the overlay just...stops working? Copy/pasting the URL into browser, making sure it's visible, all that but it's just not there. It's strange and so frustrating

Wow great video just a quick question how do I get that stream information dock? Ive looked everywhere and can't find anything
If you all are wondering how to have the chat and stream information on the obs dock on the side at 3:41 , just simply connect your twitch account and it will appear automatically. not just connecting with the primary/streaming key.

This tutorial is fantastic, though I am having an issue that nobody seems to have any answers for:
I follow the steps of linking my UA-cam channel to StreamElements (Login - Connect to UA-cam - Email Address - UA-cam Account) and give it the permissions it requires, but then the page just takes me back to the "Connect With" page and the process loops. There is no indication as to what is going wrong, so I was hoping you'd perhaps have some idea?

Very new to StreamElements and unclear as to where the link data for the overlay social buttons (facebook, twitter, youtube) comes from. What makes them work during a stream? I want to make sure I have it set up correctly and there doesn't appear to be a setting in the editor for these items. Great vid and thanks!

if your overlay have the chatbox (from the stream element), should we add it manually again or the code is already there in your overlay?
Why did you add the Browser Alerts in the Sources AND the Scenes tabs? Won't that create a double alert on stream?
Your story was very helpful I meant to get what I wanted to do done to almost the full extent I just only where it's just keeps saying that the overlay is an invalid authorization token
I havent tried any of this yet but it was easy to follow at least step by step but literally just showing it..step by step...lol when i get off of work im gonna rewatch this and try to apply it because im dumb as hell with this computer stuff. I just started streaming 3 days ago but literally all i have is a camera/mic/game and its sooooo basic. Hopefully this guide helps out, i think it will. Will comment back when i try it out

I have a problem, when i delete the default heart animation during follower event. I don't see the alert anymore, but I can see it if I shrink the alertbox so it's really really small. I've searched for this problem all over internet, but no one has had this problem. Soo please I really need help! Thank you for everything else though!

I recently shifted from Labs to Elements. My only struggle is when I choose to go live, I dont know how I enter my title, thumbnail, info etc of the stream. Labs gives you a pop up box of settings before you Go Live. How does Elements work for this? I cant use it until I figure it out. Thanks.

When I first downloaded obs I put either 60 or 30, but prefer 60 when possible.. How to change that?
aye when i add the overlays its super zoomed into the overlay, i can size the overlay to the screen, but only the top left of the overlay is visible
Hello I’m having problems. I’m trying. To transfer my overlay from one account to another with Stream Elements. I have all scenes and what not on my computer. But it’s not on my account on Stream Elements and I’m not getting alerts.
when i try and get my follower alert running it only shows half of the bar itself, even when i resize its just half of this, any fix?
I have a question: is there a way to use stream elements with OBS on Linux/Ubuntu?
I just did that overlay thing but it does not show in the stream. It's just a black screen. I do get the audio though.

Stream elements is more an add on for obs. Obs.live is just obs with the stream elements add on pre installed.
