I was at Creativa in Dortmund on 19 March this year, together with another crafting friend. We visited the combined Pfaff/HV stand and asked the young guy working there whether I could buy Pfaff needles for my Creative Icon 2 from him. Normally my sole purchasing option is buying Pfaff needles online. To our combined astonishment, he told me in a very arrogant, dismissive way that Pfaff needles were rubbish - too expensive and nowhere near as good quality as Schmetz or Organ needles. When I protested that this was demonstrably untrue & I could prove instantly that Pfaff needles were not more expensive, his arrogant assertions became even more overt. In summary he told me that Pfaff needles were made in Asia, bad quality, and gratituously twice the price of Schmetz needles, in a lecturing tone which implied that I was a fangirl idiot. I have continued to use Pfaff needles with my beloved Pfaff CI2 nevertheless, entirely satisfied with their price & quality. I'm writing this feedback here because this is my first opportunity to pass on that Pfaff might want to vet its representatives at German craft fairs a bit more closely.
