Hi Charles, I wanna make this short. I agree with you on everything you've said, but my question is of a different kind. Do you think that killing tens of thousands of innocent people in order to stop the ongoing war is justified and do you think it should be considered a war crime? If so what is your opinion on the fact that US dropped two atomic bombs on Japan? Thank you. I've talked to many americans about this and vast majority thinks is justified to kill innocent people(wipeout an entire city) in order to stop the war...

Hello there... Hope you are well.... I respect Albanian people, my friend..... but I am also expressing my opinion of the situation down there.. I hate to say this, but my country didn't get involved in this conflict for humanitarian reasons... :( it was all about location, minerals, and MONEY.. I have a question for you... I watched a video called " Kosovo: Can you Imagine" They were speaking to Serbs that were still living in the area and telling how horrible they are treated down there. WHy?

Technically, the Illyrians appeared around the 4th Century BC.
Before that, the Proto-Illyrians appeared around 1,000BC, which was actually the Bronze Age, not Stone Age.

I think you made good point by comparing Kosovo issue to other historical secessions in different countries. in this case to American civil war, but it's out of our power (your, mine or any other simple man) to do anything about that. I'm very glad that you have nice opinion about Serbia, especially because I think of real Americans like as a good, friendly, honorable people. After ww1 Serbian flag was raised on White house, and I respect that in the name of my great grandfathers.Greetings

it's nice for somebody to finally say the other side of the story.. when i was little in the 90s i thought we, the serbs, did something wrong and that's why we have to suffer, and then when we pay our dues everybody's gonna leave us alone.. it was easier when i looked at things that way, a child's look on things.. it's frustrating when you realise that all that you've been trough was just for someone's economic and political interest.. "just because the kings wanted to play war"

This song describes it all. I dont have time, but if u want u can find lirycs for it and than use google translate to see what it is about.
    It starts like this:
How can u open your eyes when u know that only thing that is waitng for u is a fight, u r watching trough a window like trough prison bars the freedom is far away.
It sounds bad on english (and I'm bad translator) but it is very good song and it explains a lot of things

I agree with you and enjoyed your video. The only thing I will say is as An American with Serbian roots. You can't really compare Kosovo with our Civil War. Just because there are centuries more history there. Unfortunately a lot of the history is of war and hatred. I will say this. KOSOVO IS AND ALWAYS WILL BE SERBIA. No matter what they say and how many countries recognize Kosovo. They know Kosovo=Serbia.
Loving your videos. Please keep them coming.

    1. There you cannot compare Civil War with war between Kosova and Serbia. 2. It isn't true that Kosovo as you say is heart of serbian orthodoxy. It is documented that most of churches from the Byzantian times were albanian, back then the majority of eaglelanders (albanians) of Kosovo were of Byzantinian Orthodox faith. Just after most of them converted to islam churches got dominated by serbians. Some albanian orthodoxs who didn't accept islam got asimilated to serbian. 3. Relax ;)

First of all Slavs came in 6th century. Your people Albanians are first mentioned in 11th century by Byzantines, and your first writing is made in 15 century, so there is no proof you are of Illyrian origin. You came in Kosovo from Prokletije (damned mountain) during Ottomans and since then you were killing and driving out Serbs from their homeland. Come on where is Dardania? There is no Dardania so stop talking shit there would be never conflicts in Kosovo if you weren't there to make troubles.

    1. Nowhere in my previous comment did I mention anything about the Yugoslav Wars of the 90s.
    2. Including Montenegro in that list is a bit stupid, since Montenegro was part of Serbia until 2006, not to mention that there was never any battle between Serbia and Montenegro.
    3. Let us not forget that the Albanians are equally guilty of massacres and ethnic cleansing too.
    4. Kosovo was never Albanian land. And what "people of Kosovo"?
Kosovo has no ethnic group of its own.

The official information about Serbian halpogroup:
    I2a2: 34.5% (Dinaric / Danubian - True!)
    E1b1b: 20.5% (Balkanic)
    R1a: 15% (Balto-Slavic / Germanic / Indo-Iranian (Indo-European))
    R1b: 7% (Italo-Celtic / Germanic)
    I1: 6.5% (pre-Germanic (Nordic / Viking))
In an overall view, the Serbs are an Indo-European Dinaric/Danubian-Balkano-Slavic people with smaller measures of Celtic, Germanic and Nordic blood. The ancient tribes - Slavs, Illyrians, Scythians & Sarmatians are the same people.

There are Serbians that did do mass killings and there was genocide against the Bosnians. I am referring to your comment at 5:02 when you said "I'm not saying Serbia did that." I am not saying all of the people in Serbia wanted to kill and wanted genocide towards Bosnians and Croatians, however the people who did the mass murders against the Bosnians happened to be Serbian.

    Venetians and Ottomans
Vojslave born in the region of Polog where the populace were a mixture of Albanians and Bulgarians..The names are influence in culture, but ethnicity is another thing. Why the tower of St. George in Hilandar was called also Albanian tower?
