But that’s like saying don’t you dare compare Czech and Slovakia Austria and Hungary, Italy and France just because I’d love to visit the Balkans doesn’t mean I believe Serbia and Croatia are equal any more than England Switzerland France and Germany are all equal even if they were all Roman at one time.

@@docJamesE1318 The guy is just speaking shi*t. We and Croats are close (telling this as a Serb). The language is almost the same, culture is a bit mixed, depends on the regions. We are even closer than Czechs and Slovaks, believe me i know cuz i live in the CZ for 10 years. As you can see, you always can find a douchebag thats gonna start with the Nationalisms. Come visit Balkan, you will enjoy it 100%. The food, the people, the weather, woman (if you are not married) and so on.. 😀

I watched Jokic in Rio Olympics as young player. Was sitting at games with his brothers. Fantastic times.
In 2022, before the game SER-GRE in Belgrade I've seen some of the guys from DNVR on the street. After that I had to watch all the videos they made in Serbia and they made a great job. This conservation with Charles is a bulls eye, I'm glad that he didn't drink to much beers this time 😆
As Serbian who travels a lot, hr will love watching any sport event bt also Colorado nature tracks and sights which I imagine is beautifull.

Great podcast, great guest. We all love Charles. Walmart - so true! I was listening to Darko Milicic's on some podcast the other day, he said he would have been a way better NBA player if he didn't go to Home Depot to watch the chainsaws every day!
Charles does those things for our Serbian people and Serbia that are incredible, he has greatly indebted us. Here's how, us Serbs, is not offended when someone talks bad about me and has a proven reason for it, I or we are offended by lies and even worse persistent lies. I don't like flattery , only true words please me or us, true and sincere, but only deserved praise. And Charles is doing just that. So thank him very much and my family and I love him.

Well, I have nothing against Walmart but don't be surprised if your Serbian guest ask you to take him to Grand Canyon.
Jokić is not your typical Serb, he seems more introverted, less prideful (not that regular Serbin has Kobe level ego) but Jokić is more extreme in almost hating big ego which often comes with celebrity status.
It seems like he is not passionate enough about national team, and that is the reason that many don't like him and even don't want to see him anymore playing for Serbia.
Someone like Bogdan Bogdanović, Luka Dončić (who is also half Serbian) has more of a regular Serbian sportsman vibe than Jokić
U pravu si za Jokića. Da Jokić ima srpski mentalitet ne bi dozvolio lošijem igraču od sebe, Embidu, da dominira nad njim u bukvalno svakom duelu. Bogdan je mnogo dobar momak koji voli da igra za Srbiju, ali je mekan igrač. Srpski mentalitet se po mom mišljenju najviše prepoznaje u sportistima poput Dončića, VladimIra Grbića i Đokovića.
Izlupetaste se vas dvojica za sve pare 😄 Jokic čovek svaki detalj igre secira, nervira se, vileni, stalno prigovara sudijama jbt sta vi gledate čovek je živac i impulsivac. To je neki smešan narativ kako je on miran. Čovek igra po stolovima, na žurkama, sluša teške narodnjake svasta, voli da popije, luduje, a mnogo mrzi da gubi. Samo što je on za razliku od većine Srba dosta smireniji u izjavama posle utakmica.
Jokic i Embid su igrali SAMO 8 utakmica i to skoro sve u Filadelfiji
Jokic je bio bolji u njihovoj prvoj, trećoj i četvrtoj i šestoj utakmici. Ne prosipaj se majke ti mile.
Embid je bio bolji u drugoj, sedmoj i osmoj a u šestoj iako je Embid imao bolju statistiku Jokic je pobedio njega i Hardena sa svojom drugom postavom usred Filadelfije bez Mareja i Portera jbt pobedio njega i Harden sa Bartonom u sred Filadelfije 🙄
U trećoj njihovoj utakmici na primer isporučio mu je monstruozan tripl dabl dok je Embid imao komičnih 15/12/1 sa jadnih 24% sutra iz igre ali su Embid ovi saigrači tada odigrali odlično.
U jednoj ga je pobedio sa sutem u zadnjoj sekundi a u šestoj bez svojih prvotimaca
