How many owners of this car would even notice that the battery capacity isn’t what it should be? They will just be disappointed that the claimed range is even worse than they expected , accept it then do nothing about it and Cupra/VAG are laughing at them for not realising it and tell them that it must be the way that they are driving the car that they cannot get the full range.
Tell wifey she must also supplement with vitamin K2 alongside the vitamin D3. Otherwise she could suffer from excess calcium in the blood and that isn't safe 😊
The procedure is wrong! The key is that the car needs time (>12h) for relaxation (=HV off!) at a very low SoC, then charge it up (charging rate doesn't matter) and let it again stand still (=HV off!) for at least 12h at high SoC for relaxation. Then the BMS can recalculate the battery capacity step by step.
Hi there, this is probably a silly question. I was wondering, I have a BMW 330e PHEV, it does exactly my commute to and from work on electric power alone. I plug it in overnight to a 7kw home charger. The 330e can only charge at 3.6kw, which takes about 4 hours. Since it is fully charged before I need it to be- for my drive to work, would it be better for the battery if I set it to charge at 2.3kw for example? Hoping to prevent battery degradation as much as possible. At present it’s new and I arrive home with 1km of electric range left. Really can’t afford much degradation before I start using fuel! Thank you so much in advance for your advice.
Does anybody else think that the network signal symbol on centre display looks like a Schnauzer dog? Achtung, this Spanish car must be secretly a German one.
I think Bjørn has talked about it in detail in the video(s) about Aviloo, which is hardware solution combined with cloud data and a driving and charging guide with the Aviloo box connected to the car's ODB2 connector. (ODB2 is what Bjørn has the apps, Car Scanner and Scan My Tesla connected to) BR, Per
@Aximo don’t get scared of a brand when you see just one car with a faulty battery module. We’ve seen Hyundai, Kia, Nissan and even Tesla with faulty battery modules. So far most of them get replaced under warranty.
In this episode:
Bjørn rants at a brake pedal
Isabel throws a cucumber
and Ammery's dad dress for the green winter 😀
That brake pedal is now so depressed, it's a breakpedal from now on 😂.
The brake had a mental breakdown 🤣
What a fantastic multi-lingual house you live in!
As someone whose ID3 has had a battery module replaced this is very interesting, thanks. Looking forward to Part 2.
Just seeing this one experience would take that car immediately off my shopping list for years.
Love these videos ! a little bit technical a little bit family, vlog style. Awesome to watch ! Btw your father in-law reminds me the artist Pikotaro 😅
My uncles Q4 etron battery also went bad. Audi had to replace some modules
You mentioned Tibber in the video. Tip for future video, talk about the virtual powerplant that Tibber now offers....
Already in the plan.
i think id have heatstroke if my house was 27c. fucking wild
If Bjørn would open all doors and windows of his (green)house, the global temperature would probably rise 🫣😁

Cars should show the actual battery capacity or battery health, like many phones do.
Consumption is so high man! My 58Kwh Born gets around 175wh/km with those temps and cruising steady 110km/h
It's high, because Bjorn always adds VAT to his driving speed...and the VAT is very high in Norway....
@@kaasman78 VAT in Norway is around 7000NOK -600EUR 😢

What state of health does Carscanner report?
Are you gonna go and take a look at the Cybertruck this weekend in Oslo?
Nope
Why not? You stated so in the livestream
Is the baby coming?

I wouldn't worry as long as it is ac and at so low charging speeds... (Disclaimer: I don't own an EV 😃 yet...)
Did I spot Pawel’s Taycan? 😊
No
❤❤❤
I think you may be confused. When they say "depress pedal'" they mean you should ask it about it's relationship with it's mother. 😜
Wifi? yes its not a cup holder its a mango holder :)
Cybertruck press event today?
Nope
@@bjornnylandI thought you said during livestream that press event is today at Tesla Skøyen and you can attend it today? Canceled?
Bad brake pedal !
Naughty brake pedal !
After all that i think its about to have a Mental brake-down ;)

"Function only available when ignition is switched on..." What do you want to ignite, then? 🤣
Believe it or not a diesel has an ignition too.
@@christianlinke380 Well, diesel engines that doesn't ignite don't take you very far :-)

I would genuinely be afraid of buying VW electric car…
At least VW can replace battery module … Tesla can’t so they need to replace the whole battery.
