The vacuuming kit was BUGGY DOWN! Like you could talk to a dust bunny 3 times and you were best friends and they could start finding change everywhere for you. It was so bad, you could quit your job and still pay rent solely off of dust bunnies. Miserable game
Vacuum kit is hella annoying - had to disable it. Those dust bunnies were ugly and immersion breaking in my luxury condo and my Sims would NOT stop sniffing everytime they went up or down a flight of stairs.
I personally don’t mind the courtyard oasis kit simply because it’s like the only Arab representation we have in the game (which is disappointing to say the least). The build items were actually cute and I use them a lot, can’t say the same for the clothing kits since the clothes don’t even overlap well (skirts don’t work with certain tops, etc…).
And another thing is that they sell these packs at the same price in all currencies (so people abroad end up paying a lot more in USD). For example, someone in the UK is paying £5 for the kit (which ends up being like $7). Why not just convert it from $5 :/
It's kind of foul that the only way to get representation is to pay for it.
@@irongirltoni very true, that’s why i stopped buying their packs and started downloading more cc. Why they wouldn’t include more representation into the base game is beyond me.

The sims 4 is never enough I still need custom content and mods to make the game interesting for me. Thank goodness for these great creators they really do so much for the game.

the only ones i would buy are the blooming room kit and maybe the incheon kit everything else they can pack it up. very hyper capitalist of ea. give us a toddler and teen update or kit for them with good things and not crunchy mens fashion. i hope they will start collaborating with more cc creators. some of these kits just feel like extensions of stuff packs or the base game. throwback clothes could’ve been an update for that bowling one and the mens fashion could have been a base game add on
I have the Incheon arrivals kit and I really enjoy it I do recommend it
something about buying clothing and furniture doesn’t sit right with me. unless ur on console and cant install custom content, theres no reason to throw EA $5 for items you could probably download for free. the kit items dont even give gameplay 😭😭
the only kit that actually adds legitimate gameplay is the vacuum one….. and its broken
@@Asparkl damn the vacuum kit is broken, honestly agree with this cc is often of a higher quality and being poc appeals to me more since they have hairstyles that fit my sims

I just started the sims over the weekend (I’ve spent almost every hour I’m not at my job playing it), and I’m very confused as to why we can’t go to high school with our teenage sims. Elementary is whatever I don’t really care, but I wanna do the high school drama, I wanna choose my classes and shit. It’s a fun game and I’m hooked but I’ve just been kinda shocked at how many missed opportunities there have been on EA’s side of things.
I bought 1 kit (incheon arrivals) and while the clothes are cute and nice I just can't say it was worth the 5$ knowing cc is/will be an option for me as a pc player. Kits are great for console players who don't have that option. But on the other hand i do feel a bit 😬 about them having you buy culture in this game that already lacks it severely. Idk...if they added a world or smth maybe I wouldn't feel as robbed 🤷🏻
Not to mention the diversity we get is mostly east Asian. Nothing wrong with having east Asian cultures in the game but I feel its time to move on to another place on the globe

My biggest problem is paying five dollars for some diversity. But they didn’t hire a lot of outside ppl, so I can’t be too mad.

I’m watching this after the release of my wedding stories and I’m so sorry that the expectation we all have of the team not releasing unfinished broken packs is still a thing. Hopefully when you’re on break again it will be fixed.
i got bust the dust because i like the concept of making my sims do chores together as a family since there isnt a church lmao so the more chore stuff the merrier if they could add folding clothes, making beds etc would purchase but thats the only one all the other kits can go to hell

I haven't kept up w. Sims, but how cool would it be with a historical add on, with the clothes and houses etc. They could add that but for different eras, and maybe the future too. They could have different towns for the different time periods
You can toggle off the dust in the vacuum kit. It's not for every household, I use it a fair amount. I'm on console so everything is worth it. Really though, I am enjoying all the kits I purchased no regrets. Incheon fashions, *Fashion street, the courtyard kit, and the plants kit. If I had cc access I would still get the vacuum and plant kits.

There is a good reason why I just play the base game and patiently wait until things from packs or kits or whatsoever to eventually seep into the base game, if they are good enough.

I have all the CAS kits because I spend 95% of my time making Sims. I use all of them a lot more than I thought I would. The Bust the Dust kit is hella annoying and I use mods for it or just keep it disabled. And I have one build kit, the Country Kitchen. Which I probably wouldn't have bought had I known Country Living was coming out. But it's still cute.

Bust the dust is a pretty good one in my view. Gets a lot of flack. But its more valuable to my game play. And I only vacuum 2x a week which is pretty accurate for my own life.
