Yeah, I have Chocobo (Choly Knight's pattern) I call "Flop Neck". I blew up the pattern to make him humongous, but, when I was making a big one for the first time, I didn't stuff his neck very well and was really weird about attaching the head with the body, like I ladder stitched as little fabric as possible for some reason. The next I made was fine because I fixed all those mistakes, but I still debate whether or not to decapitate Flop Neck and fix him.

Hi, The fabric you used for your plushie had stretching both ways you stretched. How do find the right way to cut it, when it stretches like that? Please advise. Thant you
This type of fabric has a fur texture called the "pile" so you can lay your pieces with the fur down (think how the finished plushie will be, when you pet it you want the fur to point down to the ground)
You can also find the selvage, or the finished edge of the fabric, and cut your pieces parallel to that.

So theoretically, do any changes need to be made when using mochi minky instead of regular minky? I was sent mochi instead of regular!
I personally didn't make any adjustments to the pattern. Mostly just had to make sure I wasn't over-stuffing which is easy to do with a very stretchy fabric!
If you wanted to limit the stretch, you could put interfacing on the back of the fabric. Hope that helps!
What type of sewing/embroidery machine did you use for the embroidery designs?
