Thanks for the.comments and encouragement. News alert! NEWS ALERT! Henri is performing a solo piano concert at The Rockwood Music Hall in New York! January 13 2020 - tickets here www.eventbrite.com/e/henri-herbert-tickets-77228806439
The overhead view and slow tempo is perfect for beginner pianists (like me) who want to slow down a video to see a great example of how blues scales are used under the right hand.
But he did already all the work for you. Download the Video and watch it in slow mode and repeat it as often you want. Don't understand that kind of questions, if already most of it its done
Hello, this is an great view to learn.I am trying to figure out from 0:11 to 0:13 the notes played. In my opinion it slides gflat to g+c then f+a, then slide eflat to e - g - a - middle c g+c f+a slide eflat to e - g - e - middle c In the right rhythm it sounds similar, but I think he still plays another eflat somewhere. I don't figure it out, if I try something else it sounds to different. Did somebody figure the exact sequence out?
Henri, In the final verse: Is that a recovery or did you do it on purpose? Brilliant regardless, but I have to know which it is for real, thanks. (Typed vaguely on purpose since I know you know what I'm asking while those who don't know don't need to know.)

Remember Henri, you should play a piano not beat it to death. Loud does not make it better. You are very good, don't spoil it.
