This is amazing! My father played Boogie Woogie and I wasn't ineterested. I'm 64 now, watched a lot of Henri's videos, went out and bought a Digital piano and now I'm hooked. Thank you Sir for your excellent and intuitive lessons. I have a long way to go. Brilliant :-)

I think it is good the way u teach as for anyone who has no musical knowledge of keys, notes, time, etc could easily learn from this, u try not to complicate your instruction with a lot of info they might not remember and would make it hard for them to just have fun in beginning. Excellent
Thank you. This was the best tutorial on what I need to practice the boogie-woogie. I noticed that on your left hand you used only your thumb and not your thumb and index finger to play those chords. I initially started using those same fingers as you but then I watch others who taught using the index and thumb fingers....I found this very clumsy so I went back to using just the thumb and not the index finger. Thanks for verifying the way I was practicing it...I feel better now...lol

The answer is slow it down, repeat, repeat. Most people play too fast and think that one day they will suddenly get hand independence. This is not how it works. It takes years.
Is there any chance you will make this series available for purchase without becoming a patreon subscriber? I cannot really afford to join right now on a monthly basis, but would be happy to pay for the tutorials if they could be purchased separately. I'll miss not having them on UA-cam anymore, but totally agree that you should be paid for your time and work to produce the video. They are excellent-would love to learn from them.
