Great test gentleman! When I bought my new house I really wanted to get Drake II Totos, but I couldn't justify the price for two toilets. I ended getting the Kohler Cimarron 360 and they've been working great. There's occasional clogs and the bowl rinse could've been better, but way better than the old 5 gal flush 80s toilets at my old house!
This video helped us so much! We were contemplating on which toilet we should buy and seeing these examples really clarified our decision. Your thorough review and clear explanations made the choice much easier. Thank you for the valuable insights!
Many yrs ago....my boss went to kohler factory in Wisconsin. All the "FLUFF" with kohler. Anyway...... the new 1.28 gpf toilets all have a common problem. At around 60 ft of distance the water separates from the solids. We were a large plumbing company in southwest Florida. Slab homes. Having lots of stoppages. Long drainage runs. This was even after the code changed to 5 toilets on a 3" line. Old code was if you had 3 toilets needed to be a 4" line. And the 3 inch and 3 1/2inch flush valve toilets were the worst. The cheaper toilets with 2" flush valve were able to be "modified " to use more water. This helped tremendous. Now keep in mind these houses I'm talking about usually had a toilet in the pool area which was the furthest from the street sewer. These were the culprits most of the time.
I have the american standard champion toilet. I love this toilet, have had it 5 years and no clogs. Replaced a poor flushing briggs, seems like just looking at it would clog it.
Now, change the "special" flush valve on the American Standard to a normal Fluidmaster one. You'll get a better flush that way. There should be tests with full emptying of the tanks. I've never seen a great performing Kohler in UA-cam videos like these. However, I've seen a great performing Project Source Pro Flush, which is crazy to me. I think a Mansfield Summit with a full 1.6 gallon flush would perform better than the other toilets.
The gerber is an avalanche, the viper does not have the handle on the side. If you make another can you do the American standard reliant vs the Kohler Elliston vs the project source pro flush?
I have an Eljer "Titan" that I bought and installed back in 2008...I swear that thing will flush a softball. Never had a clog. It performed so well I bought two for my girlfriends place. Best toilet ever.
Unfortunately my experience with the Titan isn't great. It's remarkably similar to the AS champion in design but doesn't perform as well. I replaced it with a Am St Champion and no more clogs. The Titan is good but not very good. It got moved into the basement bathroom.
Will we go to jail or something if we don't get a 1.6 gallon flush? At least one more gallon for me and the sewer system. So ridiculous with that tiny amount of water imo :)
This is the kind of Consumer Reports I need in my life. Good job guys!

Glad it was helpful!
Another great video from my favorite plumbing company! I’m glad Hyrum could quench his thirst and Howard could have a quick snack

Good results for affordable toilets.
The best shitjacks I’ve had experience with was in the county jail. I love those stainless steel vacuum flush they use in the jails.

I have a American Standard Cadet Millenium i love that toilet so much so AS in my book was the winner but by a small margins
I got a Toto Drake 2 and a Toto Drake, I'm quite happy with both. The Drake 2 was more money and wife says the Drake 2 it's a little better.
I'd have to test them out give me 4 days
Toto Drake all day. Spend the gawt damn money on the best toilet bro. I have them in all my houses. Period.

Looks like the Garber won to me.
Your arm okay bro?😊

Get a American standard champion from the 2000’s and do these tests…
Cuz it just depends on the kind of turd you produce
Let’s compact these in a garbage truck and see which ones turn to powder.
