hi i know i am a woman but been keeping aquatics since i won my first goldfish at a fair age 9 , your tank set up looks great ,i dont use any fancy stuff and my plants grow mad my substrate is just play sand in all of my 8 tanks the largest is 66 gallons i do have DIY co2 though i also push plant balls JBL Kugeln balls dont know if you can get these there under main plants your plants are just settling in some die right back then burst back,i feed with a plant food by Tetra plantamin some of my tanks have ordinary bulbs over them four have lcd and others fluorescence i then use sluge buster once a week and 25 % water chage on all per week hope some this is of use
