    I get brain fog and fatigue when I have anything with refined sugar or even sweet fruits like grapes, sweet pomegranate, and water melon sometimes. However, I use that to my advantage; whenever I want to snooze 💤, I eat a lot of carbs or a bite or two of desserts.

      Sugar can make yourself more active. That's why many experts don't encourage people to eat sugar before you sleep.

    your brain needs a miniscule amount of sugar. all else can derive energy from fat. yes sugar is the most addictive drug

      Children will pronounce words with sugar with surprising clarity, while still slurring many others; it's an interesting side effect of addiction.
      It's also worthy of more that those trying to kick heroin are encouraged to eat all the sugar they like, and that high fructose corn syrup affects the brain similar to cocaine.

    Die beschriebenen Reaktionen auf den Zuckerentzug basieren sicherlich auf Erfahrungen. Die Konsequenzen daraus sind aber nicht die gesündesten. Es gibt schließlich viele gesunde Zuckeralternativen, weisser Zucker ist auch in kleinen Mengen absolut NICHT zu empfehlen, wie es hier getan wird.

      @@nicholaswoodworth8955 I had high glucose levels. Give up sugar and exercise daily for 1 hour and see difference. Now the glucose levels are absolutely under control. I think u deserve 1 hour for yourself. Be healthy

      @@tablescissors67 Bro, you might not understand how mot women's eating changes during/just before a period. Sugar (mostly chocolate) helps to sooth the cramps and the calm our body so our emotional hormones are not disturbed as much. Not sure how many women "only" have protein and iron but uh, not all women can be like that.

      @@tablescissors67 So you're an expert on about periods an how hey effect women differently?
      If i don't have sugar during a period, my stress causes migraines, if i at least don't have chocolate i'll be in immense pain.
      I tried to not use myself as an example but you seem to "know it all" about women's periods. Besides, i can't eat steak so only chicken an fish i can eat, however, i avoid fish during a period as i'd feel sick.
      Fruits though, plenty of those. IMO it should be a higher intake of fruits over meat during a period.

    This is somewhat misleading, Cutting off Table sugar is completely healthy and good!
    And substituting Fruits instead of sugary Desserts is healthy!

    Americans are consuming way to much sugar everyday. I see it everyday at my job profession for 22 years. I cut out 90% of my sugar intake two weeks ago. Second day was the hardest. I don't even crave refined sugar now. Refined sugar is 800% more addicting the cocaine i read. I feel 10x healthier. At times I will have a Snickers bar just to balance out my deep cut in sugar. Overall, most people have no clue about their brains. So they just give into it. It's all their fault, if we found this video on youtube. So can they.

    Sugar is in everything. It is the simplest and easiest to burn energy.
    Its a part of our lives.
