    This is a wonderful video, and only would have been better if you had the foresight to take a small treasure chest and diver decoration and set it on the bottom of the lake.

    Tank is understocked... You could fit at least a few hundred more cichlids in your tank

    Beautiful video! Buy I always can't help but wonder how this magnificent lake was formed. It's a freshwater lake surrounded by land. I wonder if there is any connecting rivers to them. Also I wonder how these fish got their colors, it really could be they come from ancestral saltwater fish... or if someone accidentally added them as aliens to this lake. ....never the less I love cichlids. Cichlids > any other fish

      Kitty Pryde. the lake was formed by the surrounding lakes that bust there banks when flooding there is a documentary on it you can search it on UA-cam x

    This is paradise. Wish I can dive in there someday. I can see the cichlid fighting for their territory there. I also kept some cichlid in my small tank.

    this is fantastic, i inherited a 5ft, 200gallon tank about a month ago, it came with 60+ cichlids, im now obsessed and learning about them has been amazing, this video has shown me a lot, its great to see their digging in their home enviroment!!

    Is this how shallow Lake Malawi is? I thought it was deeper then this or you must have stayed in the shallow area because your only a fan of mbunas
