As someone who is married of 12 years and also has a money hungry, narcissistic mother, I feel so bad for Aric. I could see my own mother doing this and just destroying families, friendships, and so much else. Do you really think this man wanted his bride to die? He wanted her to be his wife. She WAS his wife. If they signed the marriage license, I would think that would be law binding somehow. No, she did not legally change her name yet. BUT, they lived together, they went through with the wedding. I cannot fathom in my mind how this mother is now doing this to the love of her daughter’s life. Yes, she was so much more than being a bride killed on her wedding day. Why not focus on that instead and work with Aric to build a nonprofit around something Sam would have wanted? After all the hospital bills and funeral expenses are covered, take the remaining money and donate it to a cause she was passionate about. I mean, why not come to a compromise with YOUR SON IN LAW and ask the media to call her Samantha Miller-Hutchinson? I have no idea what this mother is going through. I have a daughter myself and I cannot imagine her leaving this world before me. But by God I would honor every thing she ever wanted. I wonder what they were announced as? As someone who has been married, you do NOT have to change your last name, take your husband’s name etc. therefore, Samantha made the choice to legally change her name to Hutchinson, this is an insult to her daughter and her daughter’s memory! What a vile, rotten creature!

My question is more....WHO paid for her wedding, funeral, burial etc. Yes she raised for her whole life, and now she is in pain to. What would YOU do if you spent YEARS fighting for your child, and then this happens, and it ALLLL goes to the (few hours) to spouse. Maybe a mutual agreement would be to slpit it because they BOTH lost her.
In their eyes, they have been there for her whole life, and the second they left go of her hand to give her to him, she's gone. So for a few hours on paper means he has been the provider for HER and gets everything? I could be wrong, but that might be what this while argument is really all about. The mother is grieving for her daughter, and it seems they were all very close she might be doing what she just feels is right because she feels why does she deserve NOTHING?
No, she is doing this because she is money hungry. This has nothing to do with her daughter anymore and you can tell just by how she completely ignores the most important part of her daughter's life by calling her by her maiden name and not her married name.
