Having played the trilogy, yeah, I can see how Wright would make a great prosecutor. Which as others pointed out in the comments, he's already basically the defense, detective and prosecutor lol
People who think Phoenix would be a bad prosecutir fail to realize that Phoenix is not only the defense attorney for his client, but also a prosecutor towards the real killer, AND a one-man detective team all in 3 days.

A lot of people don't seem to understand this so I'll say it: Phoenix is a defense ATTORNEY, yes. von Karma, Edgeworth, Manfred, et cetera are prosecuting ATTORNEYS. They are ALL attorneys.

"What if I don't want a death senetnce!?"
Phoenix: "Did I ask for your opinion?"

Everyone: chill it's just pretend calm down
Phoenix: the only game here is life and you LOST
Look at Gumshoe
Call him a filthy judge
Refuse to elaborate
Video ends
Maybe because he knows how wright feels when defending the client and how judge favors the prosecutor
Wirghts Halloween costume is pretty cool
Wait I got a question then where’s edgeworth s costume does he not have any Halloween spiret
“Why... Why am I hearing boss music?!”
Ah yes, the defense at its finest.
I think prosecutor Phoenix would be like a more aggressive Klavier- more concerned with the truth (and flirting) than winning, but with more of that Phoenix determination and breaking down witnesses.
Suddenly I feel like whatever Manfred von Karma is doing as a prosecutor is only scratching the surface
Pheonix is defence for a reason. He has the best points, and if he was a prosecutor… More people would be arrested than how many people are in the town.
Arrests rate would increase a lot if he is Prosecuting
@@WindowsDoor pheonix is like a mix of procution and a attorney he defends the defendat and proticutes the real culprit

Yes! Phoenix is just taking out his anger at this point. Like, he just likes defending people and then people treat him like *that.*
Dude lost the chance to make phoenix pull the updated autopsy move
From that day Phoenix terrorized people with guilty verdics and nobody coulnt stop him
He has grown too powerful

Edgeworth: this is an experiment
Phoenix: a STUPID experiment, good lord!

Edgeworth: Objection! You're hoing mad with power!
Phoenix: OBJECTION! SHUT IT EDGELORD, I HOPE YOU'RE READY TO MEET YOUR GOD

@@zebby5992 it's funny that "meet your god" is technically an innocuous threat in comparison
This is proof that being a Prosecutor is easier than being a Defense Attorney
There are so many bumbling idiots as Prosecutors in this game, and yet Phoenix is one of the very few majorly successful defense attorneys
AND Prosecutor, just of the person that actually did the deed and not his own client
"He is too dangerous to be kept alive!"
- Miles Edgeworth
If a prosecutor can make Franziska cry on trial, you know you're fucked
Phoenix had enough of a confidence boost to call him Edgyboy
Honestly if Pheonix was prosecutor *EVERYONE* would be declared guilty
I think the most cursed thing here is not that Gumshoe is the Judge, but rather that he probably would make a better Judge in the first place.
Depending on what she's being tried for, Phoenix may actually have a case. For example, assault. She, on many cases, whips people, with little to no reason.
The only reason she has to _whip others_ is to _keep them in line_ with *fear*.

Imagine a universe where Phoenix found out that it was Larry who stole MIles's lunch money and decided to become a prosecutor and there wasn't an earthquake with a blackout on a day of DL-6 accident so Gregory Edgeworth didn't die and Miles became a defence attorney
This.
But that would also assume that phoenix never got charged with murder, and was never defended by mia
@@user-re8tc1dg3b Hm, maybe he ended up defending himself and did his usual "defend the suspect, persecute the killer"? He'd probably be in law school by then, and so an extremely broke college student. Could of denied the state lawyer, too, which probably needs a reason for....Maybe he gained trust issues after that whole thing in school?? Idk, I'm just ranting a bit at this point
@@user-re8tc1dg3b wasn't he already wanting to be a defense lawyer before he met Mia though? He mentioned taking law classes(?) on top of going to school for an art degree(?) when talking to her so would meeting Mia really change what side he wanted to be on? /genq
@@i8chocolatecake995 i think him meeting Mia made him decide that he wanted to be a defence atourney, seeing how she defended him kinda inspired him i guess? I honestly dont understand that part of his lore either... cuz in the first game it says that he became a defence atourney to meet with edgeworth, but then in the 3rd game they kinda forgot abiut it?
There's a reason Phoenix isn't a prosecutor. He'd be too powerful.
Phoenix doing Edgeworth’s gestures is something i want to see more
"You have no heart Phoenix Wright!"
Since when did you have the right to say that?
Phoenix is a boss no one gives him credit for how good at his job he is. Because he doesn't just do his job he also does the prosecutor's job on top of it. It makes sense he'd be a ruthless prosecutor.
Funfact: Phoenix actually did become a prosecutor in Turnabout Revolution in JFA, except he turned against his own client because he prefers finding the truth instead of defending a murderer
I feel like Edgeworth doesn’t have the right to say “filthy judge”.
Phoenix is just judge, jury, and executioner
Edgeworth: _This is the end! That poor fool bumbles his way through so many cases, how could I have possibly fai-_
Phoenix: "I'm sorry Edgeworth, but when did you obtain that autopsy report?"

As soon as I saw the “10 minutes later” bit I knew this was gonna be really f*ckin good. Got a solid laugh out of me! Also I had no idea Franziska had a crying sprite lol.
Im pretty sure she cries at the end
It's from when she's about to leave
Imagine you walk into the courtroom and you see that your procecutor is Phenix. You are dead. He will personally chose your sentance. You have no chance no matter who your defence is. This man knows all the tricks, he managed to win unwinable situations, he managed to solve a case, that was impossible to solve within 15 minutes most likely, and he managed to make every single one of the procecutors against him lose their perfect record. You might as well plead guilty at that point. And HOPE that he doesnt start to investigate further, so that you dont get charged with much more serious crimes.
Phoenix as a Prosecutor - AKA, dismantle the defendant's self-worth.
Having played the trilogy, yeah, I can see how Wright would make a great prosecutor. Which as others pointed out in the comments, he's already basically the defense, detective and prosecutor lol
"Why im hearing Boss music?" - Miles Edgeworth
Edgeworth, that is called being a protagonist.
DA Phoenix: I’ll have her home by 10 sir
Prosecutor Phoenix: Your daughter calls me daddy too
All the whipping, updated autopsies, coffee mugs, Katana strikes, and beads have lead prosecutor wright to this moment
"When I told you to kill her, I DIDN'T MEAN IT LITERALLY!"
Phoenix has no right to look this good in that suit, but here we are...
Yup. I agree 😂
WHY DOES THIS ACTUALLY FEEL LIKE SOMETHING THAT WOULD HAPPEN
edgeworth as an attorney: very weak
phoenix as an attorney: ok
edgeworth as a prosecutor: stronk
phoenix as a prosecutor: *COLOSSAL*
"why am i hearing boss music?!"
Simple, if Phoenix was a prosecutor, he would be the final boss!
Phoenix as a Prosecutor could bluff a parking ticket into an execution
1:10 Didn't know Phoenix could read minds
Phoenix makes Edgeworth and Franziska hear boss music in 10 minutes. Bullshit. It usually takes 3-5.
The others 5 where the Judge explaining the case
Imagine if Wright was raised by Von Karma instead of Edgeworth. Miles is a genius, but Phoenix is a walking god.
People who think Phoenix would be a bad prosecutir fail to realize that Phoenix is not only the defense attorney for his client, but also a prosecutor towards the real killer, AND a one-man detective team all in 3 days.
i love how cursed pheonix looks and how he turned into von karma in like a minute
Let's be honest Phoenix would still win and Franziska be found guilty and would be sent to 90 days in jail. Or 40 with coksing from Edgeworth
No... he collapsed her so bad she "chose death". Edgeworth had to "whip her into shape" after Phoenix ended both hers and Manfred's
lives and careers. This case would be Phoenix's "perfect game" of giving them "Karma".
We need this whole trial
And an updated autopsy report
A lot of people don't seem to understand this so I'll say it:
Phoenix is a defense ATTORNEY, yes. von Karma, Edgeworth, Manfred, et cetera are prosecuting ATTORNEYS. They are ALL attorneys.
"Your honor! The witness's statement is entirely false!"
"...I don't see a problem, pal."
"Really Edgeworth, you should know better!
(It feels amazing to be the one giving out penalties for a change!)"
I would like to point out that if this standard ace attorney rules (guilty person is lying) Wright would literally get all of his clients immediately thrown into prison
Edgeworth: you didn't need to literally collapse her!
Lol Edgeworth being literal
"I think this got out of hand Mr. Edgeworth...."
Considering the amount of high pressure situations Phoenix has been in with some prosecutors, with all odds and people against him, this is right on the money Gumshoe...
Love how the Boss music is playing as Pheonix demolishes the opposition.
