I really wish they actually reused some of Apollo's old themes from the original Apollo Justice for this final trial or the civil one against Phoenix, 'cause apparently Phoenix got to have his music from the first game in turnabout Succession so...
Apollo did not just literally end this woman's whole career, he fucking tore down an entire goddamn leg system. Edit: Fuck you, leg system. I'm not changing it.
Simply amazing, I even dare to say that this scene and another one from The Great Ace Attorney (which I don't remember now) are the most epic scenes in the entire Ace Attorney series
Man, why didn't Capcom think of this? I think it's because Revolution is more of a parallel of Goodbyes than Bridge, old prosecutor friend who got framed, big powerful guy/gal taking advantage of the legal system but it's also feel like a TnT moment. Conclusion: Bad move from Capcom, hope some modders can mod it in (remix it aswell)
It's POSSIBLE that they could still bust out Pursuit ~ Overtaken in a future game. Apollo still has one massive loose end that's yet to be tied up that could EASILY be made into a Grand Finale case that's TRULY about _him,_ and her name is Thalassa Gramarye.
@@ThePoltergust5000 There's nothing to really do with that particular loose end though. They could have had a chance to bring up Lamiroir during The Magical Turnabout, but they missed the opportunity,. I can't really see how any plot related to her could be interesting or satisfying at this point with the Troupe Gramarye plotline pretty much wrapped for good as well as the plot surrounding Apollo's father being resolved. It was actually a huge missed opportunity to leave her out of SOJ imo.
It amazing how a song change can make a moment more impactful. Don't get me wrong I like SoJ's pursuit theme too but like in TT when the first games theme came on in the final trial hyped me tf up and it gives a sense of finality bringing a close to the trilogy. Still a great ending though, can't wait for what the 7th game brings hopefully it focuses on Athena becoming a confident lawyer and Apollo fixing Khura'in's justice system, Phoenix deserves a break that man has been through hell and back having to fix so many people's problems
The funniest thing is you can still dethrone the queen but lose the case, I think there was still another question or two you need to answer. I did this for fun to see what would happen. You don't get a completely unique bad ending, but you do get unique text in the game over where the judge says something like "Dude you dethroned our queen and ruined our country and you couldn't even get your client found not guilty, get out of our country and don't come back".
Sorry, but you actually can't. Garan can only be dethroned at the very end of the trial, everything else, including Dhurke's innocence, is revealed and proven beforehand. Spirit of Justice does have a number of bad endings, but none of them end with Garan being dethroned, that only happens in the actual ending.
1:47 That Penalty should have been way larger like in previous games, where any mistake at the final piece of evidence either ends the trial with a bad ending(like in this case, Apollo Justice getting executed) or a penalty close to a full one(4 out of 5 Magatama points).
Honestly would have been even more hype since at the time Apollo is literally being held at gunpoint and any player that made it this far know exactly what is the right option.
Phoenix ended the Dark Age of Law, Edgeworth took down a smuggling ring, Apollo dethroned a queen with no real power. What's next, Athena saves the Earth from Armageddon?
@@MinusWorldInterviews LOL That's basically what I'm suggesting. Her stopping a world crisis from occurring, maybe with some special help or a handicap like a lack of the Mood Matrix.
Dunno why you'd hate Apollo. He had like no defining personality traits in his own game other than actually being a competent lawyer and exasperation for all the nonsense he has to go through.
this case was genuinely heartbreaking for me, i fucking love it so much this music change makes it so much better, i wish they did the same thing they did in the last case of T&T with this, but still, i absolutely adore this case and apollo's character development.
This video is the sole reason why I speedran through this game, to watch it without spoilers, only to completely forget about it after finishing it then getting the video recommended to me in a few days after
In retrospect, I wonder if this was in fact the true purpose behind the Founder's Orb all along? That it was meant to catch false Queens by luring them with the promise of bestowing spiritual powers that don't exist, and exposing them as illegitimate when they tried to summon the Holy Mother?
*SWEET POETIC IRONY 101:* "I want a lawyer! Summon one at once!" "OBJECTION! Aren't you forgetting something? There aren't any lawyers left in Khura'in. You can thank your Defense Culpability Act for that."
AA4: Klavier and Judge discuss law and how it grows, changes, and learns from its mistakes over the years while Apollo is just standing there silent. He doesn't know what to say because he thinks he hasn't seen enough to say anything. He vows to learn about law, however, and will fight for it if in needs to change. AA6: After a long and drawn out fight, Apollo single handedly changes the law of an entire country so it too can grow and evolve. Intentional or not, that it masterful storytelling.
Gar'an does embody Kristoph Gavin in a way. Kristoph expects Apollo to lose against Winston Payne so that he could get away with his dirty work and frame Phoenix Wright for his crimes. Kristoph never rooted for Apollo in his first trial in the first place other than Phoenix himself.
AA1: Prove that a prosecutor undefeated during 40 years guilty of a murder that occured nearly 15 years ago. AA2: Prove your client's guilt while also making sure that the hired assassin doesn't kill your assistant. AA3: Prove the guilt of a prosecutor while also exorcizing a spirit from your assistant's body. AA4: Prove the guilt of your old boss with the help of the man who carefully planned this trial for 7 bloody years. AA5: Prove the identity of a person who has none. AA6: *Destroy a government.*
I love this scene so much! I kind of wish that he had listed all the things she made him lose, though, like this: “You tried to assassinate the queen, killed my father, made me lose my mother, you forced my adopted dad and brother and I into exile, you took my brother and adopted baby sister hostage, you killed my adopted dad and NOW you threaten to not only kill my new family but also threaten my brother!
*leg system*
*Leg system*
leg system, huh?
The system in which the short lose as the tall prevale
Yea keep it
Simply amazing, I even dare to say that this scene and another one from The Great Ace Attorney (which I don't remember now) are the most epic scenes in the entire Ace Attorney series
I love how the guards had swords then when the fake queen got caught they pull out guns
They need to use the GaMetal remix.
it might also be because if you really think about it AJ is about phoenix despite the marketing and protagonist
Hi-fi remix when?
Apollo's 3d model always cracks me up.
Seriously it was lost opportunity. Pursuit overtaken is a great one.
When pointing and shouting defeats trained guards armed with military rifles
Apollo is learning from Shephard.
LMAO YOU CAN DO THAT???? Ace attorney wildin
LMAO U NEED TO MAKE A VIDEO SHOWCASING THAT
Sorry, but you actually can't. Garan can only be dethroned at the very end of the trial, everything else, including Dhurke's innocence, is revealed and proven beforehand. Spirit of Justice does have a number of bad endings, but none of them end with Garan being dethroned, that only happens in the actual ending.
@@nathanevans1382 oh
@@nathanevans1382 wait really? I thought you can lose at "show us with this piece of evidence you want so badly!"
I saw "Apollo's big scene" but now I just read the title. THEY DONT HAVE THE MUSIC THERE!?
0:43 Start
3:40 Deleting Ga’ran
3:40 (almost) GREAT MUSIC TIMING WITH THE ANIMATION, I LOVE IT
Apollo the guy who comes back 10 years later and who succeeded in dethroning the queen.
Your country, your laws, *HIS VERDICT*
I AM SO HAPPY THEY MADE THE AIRBENDING CANON
2:50 probably the most underrated line in ace attorney history
Literally a "you dug your own grave." moment, and she can't even get out of it
3:45 when you win the argument against your teacher in class
Teacher! Your reign of terror...ends here!
*all of your classmates flew over*
In Ace Attorney pointing your finger is more effective than a gun that it could be a murder weapon.
1:47 That Penalty should have been way larger like in previous games, where any mistake at the final piece of evidence either ends the trial with a bad ending(like in this case, Apollo Justice getting executed) or a penalty close to a full one(4 out of 5 Magatama points).
my dude wants this to be even darker than it already is lol
Honestly would have been even more hype since at the time Apollo is literally being held at gunpoint and any player that made it this far know exactly what is the right option.
Capcom: *Doesn't make Pursuit ~ Overtaken 2016*
Fanbase: Fine, we'll do it ourselves.
Apollo even after he dethrones the Queen of Khura'in and allows the revolution to come to fruition will still be known as Herr Forehead
I love the wide shots of Phoenix just standing there, not a single expression on his face, just vibing.
I love this part so much!! It’s so satisfying to see a villain like her get taking down.
"Somedaw I will know What Law is. And I'll fight to change it if I have to !"
At 5:07 I legit thought this was going to be a caught in 4K meme
apollo actualy won 99% because of the music, and 1% of his lawyer badge
and also 1% because he slammed the desk around 15 times
no matter what haters of apollo say...
he dethroned a freaking queen.
This is his kingdom come, this is his kingdom come.
Phoenix ended the Dark Age of Law, Edgeworth took down a smuggling ring, Apollo dethroned a queen with no real power. What's next, Athena saves the Earth from Armageddon?
@@dnmstarsi I love Athena but I agree that she's Gunna have to stop a literal apocalypse to match up
@@MinusWorldInterviews LOL That's basically what I'm suggesting. Her stopping a world crisis from occurring, maybe with some special help or a handicap like a lack of the Mood Matrix.
This is amazingly done! Needs more attention
Starting from 0:42 Apollo kick some butt...
without kicking butt.
And Whoooooo Boy when it got to 3:40, I was like. Oh YOU DEAD GARAN!
Me playing Ace Attorney 4: "Man, I really hate Apollo!"
Me playing Ace Attorney 6: "Man, I really miss Apollo!"
Dunno why you'd hate Apollo. He had like no defining personality traits in his own game other than actually being a competent lawyer and exasperation for all the nonsense he has to go through.
this case was genuinely heartbreaking for me, i fucking love it so much
this music change makes it so much better, i wish they did the same thing they did in the last case of T&T with this, but still, i absolutely adore this case and apollo's character development.
Didn't think of that
reminder that apollo did all of this AT GUNPOINT
Dude she really should’ve just admit it and left because that whole charade at the end was EMBARRASSING
Extreme second hand embarrassment
I think she was praying for a miracle, that it would work after all...
But the miracle never happen.
God Apollo has such amazing music
Also after he figures it out I would put the tell the truth theme cause aa 4 had the best tell the truth theme
*SWEET POETIC IRONY 101:*
"I want a lawyer! Summon one at once!"
"OBJECTION!
This ending would've been even better if Capcom actually had done this. They dropped the ball on that one.
Considering the many unsaid things on the background, lets just be happy Apollo got a chance to shine
0:01 peak 4head moment
I was wondering if this song would play, like how the cornered theme from the first game played in t&t. But hey, at least somebody did it.
After watching this video I can't picture this moment without this song xd
This would have been a good choice. Also amazing that Apollo won the most important trial in his life with “You’re a poser.”
3:44 My man became Anime Phoenix Wright right here!
The smug aura Apollo has during this while at gunpoint is astounding
Phoenix Wright Finger Pointing + Dhurke Ultimate Glare = Apollo Ultimate Finger Pointing
He had that glare since DD
Add Perception to the mix and Apollo becomes the Ultimate Confession Machine
5:10 DAMN THEY WASTED NO TIME PULLING OUT THE GUNS ON HER
I like how when he points there’s that one guard spinning in the background.
Was hoping they did this so bad in the actual game. Be such a nice callback like Phoenix with his third game.
And then the Royal Guards just casually slide behind her
Just like Paul's staff.
Alternative title for that video:Apollo abusing desk with cool music playing on the background
I love this scene so much! I kind of wish that he had listed all the things she made him lose, though, like this:
“You tried to assassinate the queen, killed my father, made me lose my mother, you forced my adopted dad and brother and I into exile, you took my brother and adopted baby sister hostage, you killed my adopted dad and NOW you threaten to not only kill my new family but also threaten my brother! YOU ARE GOING DOWN!”
I don’t know, thought it would have been cool. I love the appropriate music because it makes the scene much better and more like Apollo’s special time to shine.
Actually, Inga killed Dhurke.
“My name is Apollo Justice. You killed my Father. Prepare to die!”
@@LightningStarSC
Actually, Ga'ran assassinated Jove Justice.
@@xxx_jim_the_reaper_xxx "You killed my adopted dad", as in Dhurke being killed, which was Inga's doing.
@@llSuperSnivyll
That was Inga's fault. Not Ga'ran's.
Ga'ran: *Fails to summon The Founder.*
Royal Guards: Y'all came to the wrong house, Fool!
Holy shit, what a timing. This morning, i suddenly thought that this scene should've used overtaken, even though i already finish the game long ago. Then this appeared in my homepage, almost as if youtube is reading my mind...
Fun fact: The video begins from camera zooming out of his forehead.
