What I love so much about Nora is that she doesn't need a giant stage, or great lighting, or extra singers, or expensive props, all she needs is her gorgeous, soulful VOICE. No one like her today.
I love Norah, but may I recommend if you haven't heard her yet, Angelina Jordan. She is Jazz based singing since age 2. She is now 18, and has 200 covers and a bunch of originals. This is supposed to be her break out year.

If you don't think she's trying to imitate her predecessor, the great Amy Winehouse, then you're even dumber than I think you are.

I miss the jam sessions of my younger days. When ma and pa was playing all over California. And when they got back home. The shows lasted weeks on end.

Hey dudes, we are listening to a mini concert of a award-winning, top jazz artist of the 2000s decade sitting in front of her acoustic piano with another notable blues musician, both singing for us. All of this in a 10 square meter room. We are into it.

Her music doesn't really make her a jazz artist in the true sense despite some blues influences, but that's ok. She's cool.

It was a privilege to see Norah at the Palais Royale in Toronto when she was just starting out . It was first come first served seating , I managed to grab a seat on the first row ....even got a glimpse of Prince behind the stage . It was an awesome experience. Thank you Norah Jones for your wonderful and soothing music.

Why is there always someone like you in every comment section of every UA-cam video who just has to bring up the dislike ratio for some reason? Especially given that for this particular video the number of likes easily outweighs the number of dislikes. Like, why do you care so much about such a tiny minority of dissenters? It's very odd.

I think the thumbs down are for the skanky biker chick who makes too much mouth noise. If it was just Jones alone it would be sublime.
@@jaxonellis2995 Except there's always at least one person in the comment sections of various kinds of videos, not just the ones related to art, who feel the need to bring up the dislike ratio. I think it's an indication of one's own insecurities to bring up something so trivial. When there are thousands of likes for a particular video, it seems pretty silly to bring up the comparatively much smaller number of dislikes.
