Danis has shown his skills by winning gold on Metamoris and at the IBJJF World Championships. We went inside the mind of the New Jersey native to find out what drives him, how he handles pressure and how with the backing and support of his master Marcelo Garcia he plans to become the best grappler of all time.

Dillon Danis is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner and mixed martial artist. He is a close training partner and friend of Conor McGregor, who is a retired Irish professional mixed martial artist, former UFC champion. Danis has trained with McGregor in the past and has accompanied him to several of his fights as part of his corner team. Danis has also competed in professional mixed martial arts (MMA) and has a record of 2 wins and 0 losses. He is signed to Bellator MMA. He is scheduled to box against UA-camr KSI in January 2023.

+Mateus Renk O fator "berço familiar" é socialização primária, significativo para formação do individuo com bom caráter. Mas esse processo de educação não depende só deste fator, requer uma certa autonomia do individuo.
Reconheço como as vezes é difícil tentar fazer as coisas sozinho, isso pode ser algo entediante e te fazer desistir. Pois ninguém consegue ser eficiente em tudo que se proponha a fazer. Então você pode economizar dinheiro pra conseguir pagar um curso. Portanto se esforce caralho, transpiração!

I know this is late but, He actually got kicked out of Marcelos. Marcelo did an interview explaining why he kicked Dillan out. He said it was a build up of how Dillan has been treating people and talking to people ( marcelo doesnt like all the trash talking and calling people out- hes very respectful of his opponents and everyone around him) and apparently he left Dillan in charge of the school for a couple weekends while he was taking some time off and he got some calls about how Dillan was running the school/treating people. Marcelo didnt technically kick Dillan out though. He just told him he thought it was time for him to "move on" to somewhere else

The point I was making was that just 2 years ago Khabib was making 5 figures a fight. Which is very little and was still in the UFC. I would bet that Dillon Danis made more in his first MMA fight than Khabib did in his 23rd Emma fight.
Also, you can not say Conor didn't take his ground game serious...Even if Conor started training his ground game right after the Nate fight he was going against a guy training his ground game for 25+ years.
