Answering the FAQs here!❤ -it will stop you from winding too much, and won’t shoot if it’s not wound up enough. It’s user proof :) can’t mess it up! -the battery is ONLY for the flash, you don’t charge the camera. It is all mechanically done through plastic and springs, wow technology 😂 -you cannot swap between full frame and half frame. It will always shoot half frame no matter what because it is a half frame camera! Still awesome though! -“getting the photos on your phone” is done when you get it developed. The photo lab will develop your film, run it through a scanner and most likely email you your digital photos. -hope this helps!❤
Best introductoryvideo for the H35N I found so far. However how do you make sure that you are advancing half frame at a time correctly? Is there a precise way for that? Thank you!
Yes you need to buy film separately! But that’s why it’s fun! You can experiment with different types :) My “essential tips” video has recommendations on which film to buy!
Hi! Your ektar videos convinced me to get one. Do you have any particular film recommendations that you think works best for the ektar or does any 100-200/200-400 iso film should be fine? Thank you!
If it was very early on into the roll, you could shoot blanks in a dark room to pass over the previous shots! But if you got decently through it, I’d say it’s safer cutting your losses and call it finished!
Sorry if this is a dumb question, I’m very new to this world. But I had this camera gifted along with a 36exp film roll. When the counter is at 36 am I finished or does the counter go to 72? Is there an obvious time the roll is done?
Since it’s a cheaper camera I usually use cheaper film! I have a video coming soon on this! But some safe bets are gold 200, or Fujifilm 400! :) affordable and easy to get
Depending where you get it developed (I used to do it at my local camera store) They can scan it with the two halves :) But now I do it myself at home so I can choose
I have other videos explaining how this concepts works! But basically each photo takes up half the space, so every time, it’s taking two completely separate photos in the same amount of film that usually would be one photo. Hope that helps!
hi anjroo, sorry i am still confused 😭 since it's a half camera. should i wind everytime i take photo? even it's only 1/2 frame or after take fully 1 frame? AHHHH PLEASE HELP
Everything functions like a typical point and shoot film camera!! It’s all tweaked so you don’t have to do anything different! The ONLY factor that is changed, is vertical and horizontal are flipped. So sideways camera=none sideways pic. Easy peezy! Nothing else is “different” :)

Hello, I want to get one. Since I have no knowledge about film camera, could you tell me that when I buy one, do I have to buy film roll as well?
Yes you need to buy film separately!
But that’s why it’s fun! You can experiment with different types :)

@@Anjroo @Anjroo Thank you. Really appreciate your quick reply. Will try to watch your essential tip video. Cheers.
i feel like i have to force the dial to turn, but im stil at 10 photos (at least is what the counter says)… is there something wrong???
I just ordered mine!!! But there’s something I still don’t understand at all, you need to advance every time you shot? Or every 2 pictures?
Every time you shoot!
@@Anjroo thanks a lot!! I bought the green one 👏🏼👏🏼✨

Yes those should be fine!
Just pick what’s CHEAP!! :) don’t waste your money on portra for this camera lol
hey! i pressed the rewind button early now - should i just rewind the whole film and use another one?
If it was very early on into the roll, you could shoot blanks in a dark room to pass over the previous shots!

How do I turn it on
You don’t! Only thing to “turn on” is the flash, which is shown
how to know when to stop when advancing the film after each shot?
It will stop for you! Which is usually after 3 winds or so

The counter goes up to 72!
which films should be we buy?

This might be a dumb question. But how do I get 2 photos in one? I’m struggling to understand
Depending where you get it developed (I used to do it at my local camera store)
They can scan it with the two halves :)
But now I do it myself at home so I can choose
So there’s not a switch or button that I would use get either one or 2 photos in an exposure?
I have other videos explaining how this concepts works! But basically each photo takes up half the space, so every time, it’s taking two completely separate photos in the same amount of film that usually would be one photo. Hope that helps!
hi anjroo, sorry i am still confused 😭 since it's a half camera. should i wind everytime i take photo? even it's only 1/2 frame or after take fully 1 frame? AHHHH PLEASE HELP

because its half film do we need to take every picture vertically, or can we do landscape shots too?
holding the camera vertical takes a horizontal pic and vice versa!
@@Anjroo thank you!! just picked one up because of your vids
Does it need the battery to take pictures? Or is it only for using the flash?
Flash only
how to digitize the snaps and upload to instagram
when you go the film lab, ask if they scan too. either tou provide them your own usb or buy it from them
Is it guaranteed that “1” is an exposable frame, or is it a gamble and one you shouldn’t use on something important?
Good question! Yes it’s fine! I sometimes end up with extra frames of me burning those shots to get to 1
Eih, you forgot the batteries! Eheheh
Thank you ❤
how can i shoot half frame
