The only way to debate should be in sound proof boxes. One guy talks and the other can not hear his opponent. Then the other guy gets the same question and his opponent can't hear the response.
Also, the moderator must cut the mic (with a warning) if either starts to go off topic.
Someone needs to remind Trump he isn't officially the candidate for the GOP and Biden isn't for the Democrats. He can't just skip the process and jump into election mode. Or maybe thats the point. Start the campaign now, and then go to the courts saying because the campaign has started, there can be no prosecution of his crimes.
You're absolutely right, and I would add that Biden is still president. He was elected to that position in order to govern as best he can. If he becomes too distracted by electoral politics he cannot attend properly to his primary task.
