Mechanics were so fluid by comparison to Fallen Order in my opinion. I felt emerced when playing & was disappointed the 2nd wasn't a bit longer or we didn't get a complete Trilogy.
Such a dichotomy of Windu to accept and sponser Kota at the age he was, knowing full well the anger within. Yet Windus feelings towards Anakin were the opposite, with Mace distrusting the darkness in Anakin. This seems to be in conflict, but I suppose until Kota is confirmed as canon it really doesn't make a huge difference

He was scared because he missed his mother and feared to lose her and therefor his family. He entered a new life on a new world were everything was entirely foreign to him. He never learned to control his emotions, cope with the loss of a loved one and had the typical curious adventure loving nature a most children have. Which is not well suited for a monk like live of discipline, modesty and control. I think Mace Windu witnessed first hand what kind of man Kota was when he found him, heared some storys his soldiers were telling about him or perhabs was saved by Kota at one point. I don`t think that Windu made his decission based on a random generator or something.

I think it was good Kota didn't use clones. One thing that I hate about the Republic in the prequels is that they used the clones for over 3 years. Palpatine may have been Chancellor and all and I know a few senators wanted the war to end, but I don't know why a bunch of senators would see that continuing the Production of clones was costly and slowly phase the clones out. Keep the ones that are already there and maybe use the 1st year of the war with clones but start recruiting patriotic humans and aliens to fight for the Republic. And maybe dont use the jedi as generals seeing how they botched the whole war.
I know it’s annoying - but the explanation is that the clones are so good at what they do, only 2% of any recruitable population could match them (after individual training and equipping) it was technically unviable to use recruits because there just weren’t enough recruits to stand up to so many droids the way the clones do. Recruits did better as resistance and guerrilla fighters which was happening over hundreds of worlds on any one day.

And in regards to the Jedi they should've been finding a way to end the war since they're main duty is trying to achieve peace. Perhaps Rhom Kota came off initially as bigoted and small minded but he clearly saw what the clone troopers COULD be used for quite easily and sensed their loyalty wasn’t TRUE LOYALTY but a bought and paid programmed one (Wich it was…or order 66 couldn’t have happened) I don’t know why they haven’t released more animated series focusing more on QuiGon and Rohm Starkiller ect George Lucas and Star Wars is a truly enduring and Perfect story both character wise and story wise too because it’s become endless storytelling not stunted and grappling for new ideas.
