My only gripe is the bottle trigger is really bad on this - I ended up using way more product than I anticipated because I was too stupid to figure out how close the bottle (it’s like spinning a wheel). $16 lesson learned for next time I use this product. Thanks BYD!

I've been using the bio advanced on the backyard two years. Spray it in the spring just before leaving for the day. That way it's good and dry to turn the dog out in the afternoon. And I don't have to worry about the backyard again for 90 days. I figure that's best for the dog.

I noticed that too. I couldn’t find lesco 007 or sunniland anywhere. My neighbor wanted me to recommend something for the yard. For my personal yard I just decided to spray some pre-emergent weeks ago.

I wouldn’t add it to a hose end sprayer formula , best to apply that with a pump or backpack 🎒 sprayer.

I have been waiting on this. I'm trying to get it right so next spring would be EZ. Usually buy the 007 during the end of the summer just so I can put it down around this time. It has been working for me. I still use the 007 and the spectracide method you have shown on your channel before but I might have to give that new product a try.
The way your doing it is more effective but this is way more affordable 👍🏾

Would you suggest using this as post emergent? You have always been looking to save a few $$ and have a great yard thank you.
If you applied a pre emergent then use one of the others, if you’ve never applied a pre emergent then use this one.

@@Mr1972Dean yes but don’t over apply herbicides in spring, read the label for the rates and how much to apply. Summer is not a good time to kill the weeds

If you haven’t done a pre emergent app use the blue bottle, if you have use Spectracide 470.
Is this st Augustine safe?
In your case Image has a weed kill for lawns made for Saint Aug and Centipede in a purple bottle. You won’t get the pre Emergent though. I’ve seen it sold at Lowes.

I used the spectracide with the crabgrass preventative and killer like you told me a few weeks ago. So come next spring my lawn should be “Roaring” like Katy Perry In the background there. Lol

@@suzrmx250 never heard of that. I apply based on conditions. In other words I stick to my program. I get results. I’m not gonna go looking for all natural products or any thing to offset. If I have weeds I treat for weeds. If I want a green lawn I use quality ferts 🤷🏾♂️. I keep her mowed and I pet and talk to her 👍🏾

Hey BYD, big fan of your videos. But i was curious. What would happen if you were to buy a hose end sprayer of the spectracide + crabgrass killer and add a calculated amount of prodiamine granules in it, disolve and spray the lawn that way? Calculate the prodiamine for the same rate/sq ft. at which the bottle is supposed to cover. I havnt been able to find anything online about this and was curious if maybe you have heard about this? Unknown about its effectiveness or if it would even work at all. Thanks again and keep the videos coming!
I’ve wondered that myself. Consensus are you won’t get an even application. Having said that, isn’t that what the Blue Bottle did? But I’m sure it more math than I could figure out 🤷🏾♂️

Do you recommend the season long bio advanced for spot spraying winter weeds in dormant lawn . I've already applied prodiamine, but you know weeds are sneaky
If you applied pre M I’d use the 470 Spectracide instead.

Weed kill for lawns is when you see weeds. It is not a pre emergent. If you lawn is full of them use a weed kill for lawns. This product does include a pre emergent but it’s a preventative. Pre emergent alone on most cases won’t kill weeds except for a product that say demension is in it.
Hey Fam. I already put down a pre emergent last friday. Yesterday i noticed i needed to cut the lawn noticed the winter weeds had already sprouted. Is it safe to spray the bio advanced if ive already put down the preemergent? I want my yard paper bag brown. I dont want to see spots of green once the frost sends it into dormancy.
If you’ve applied a pre emergent I’d use the Spectracide 470
I really wanted to try many products but I knew I had to read the label . Majority are not recommended for st augustine floretam 👎
