I live in in India, in Assam, a borderly state near Chinese southern areas and i wake up hearing SU 30MKI's going supersonic with a loud boom every morning and night.

how did the Chinese Navy see the Indian planes (at 200 ft off the deck) at 200 miles? The defending jets would need about 30,000 ft altitude to get a 200 mi horizon. Does this sim assume the world is flat?

To all those in support of chinese weapons , on March 9 brahmos was "accidently " misfired towards pakistan and it went 124 km deep into pakistani territory without being intercepted by chinese hq9 sam's deployed by pakistan

I did a little bit of googling and found the range of the brahmos ,when flying at 10 meters above sea level has a range of 290km or 156 nautical miles and also can perform an S maneuver just before impact but at this point i think it doesnt matter

So on 9th march 2022 An Indian Brahmos missile "accidently" made its way in pakistan to 124 km inside. You see here, game doesn't do justice with Brahmos missle and Joint Pakistan and chinese defense system at the border of parkistan.
Good thing is no life was lost and both countries handled it very maturely.

Just yesterday brahmos entered 120km inside Pakistani airspace guarded by hq9 SAMs without being detected.

Just couple of questions for my own understanding?
1. Why any Indian destroyer not in the vicinity wth more than 16-32 brahmos in the inventory?
2. Why Rafael's were not using Meteor to save themselves?
3. Why India has not used other Antiship missiles including sore based Brahmos to over whelm the defence?

Can the Chinese AA missiles intercept a low RCS sea skimming missile flying in an S pattern 5 meters above the water at a speed of mach 3.5 in it's terminal phase? Even the famed US Aegis radars will struggle to detect these low flying missiles against sea clutter and give adequate warning of such an attack. I doubt the Chinese have reached such levels of electronic sophistication.
DCS is not real combat,The brahmos in this game does not work like the actual one tweaking is required
Note that the Brahmos like all other missiles need to be guided onto target first as they can't see anything either. At 5 meters off of the deck it is effectively blind to anything below the horizon. The taller radar boons will detect it before it detects the ship. This is where things get crazy as the missile will have to start making course corrections. If there is no AWACS then it has a chance of reaching its terminal phase. If there is an AWACS on station then it will be detected and intercepted long before it ever "sees" the ship. A brahmos fired even a few degrees off target may be miles off target and will have to make large corrections. This is why it's not seen as a threat much larger than other anti-ship missiles.
Chinese are the first and currently the only nation to field s+x dual band radars on its destroyers, so I don’t see why not. I think the more important issue is whether hhq-9 and HQ-16 can maneuver hard enough to get the Brahmos doing evasive maneuver.
@@randallsanchez3161 well the real brahmos has an independed radar once they've fired . It's a fire and forget weapon plus the GPS guidance makes it 5 metres accurate. And in this video the brahmos was travelling at Mach 2 at an altitude of 40metres from the sea level when the actual capability is about 3.2+ Mach at an altitude of 10 metres from the sea . 10 metres is extremely difficult or maybe even impossible to intercept . And it is designed to do hard maneuver such as s maneuver on those extremely high speed . That missile doesn't have any moving parts .
Brahmos uses midcourse inertial navigation and in the terminal phase uses active radar homing along with a combination of GPS/GLONASS/GAGAN making it very difficult to jam and very accurate with a CEP of 1 meter. (videos showing its accurracy are available online) Because of the curvature of the earth a ship radar will not really see a sea skimming missile before 20 kilometres… (AWACS may pick it up further but the chinese dont have any ship borne awacs) the speed of the BrahMos is 970 metre per second. When it is about 20 kilometres away, the enemy gets only 22 seconds to react. It is very difficult to engage a projectile coming with so much speed. The sheer kinetic energy of the missile travelling at nearly three times the speed of sound and the high explosive warhead will break ships in half on impact. Videos showing it do that are also available online.
The Brahmos and Mica missiles are underperforming in the game. Meteor and Python 5 missiles were not used by Indians which is surprising. Derby is not Indian, It's Israel's missile. India has the Astraa.

maybe working Meteors on rafales, an indian awacs and exocet/Kh-35/sea eagle/harpoon support via Jaguar/Rafale/MiG/P-8 to mix it up or an indian carrier and destroyer group to increase the missiles to pose a challenge
Great Video Cap , I have installed dcs mod myself for the MKI mod and i figured out that the astra mk1 is the most effective AA missile in its package and for the fight that engagement would force the CGS to leave the area rearm

Theoretically, defence analysts have calculated that a dozen brahmos can saturate the defense of a USS gerald carrier group, so I'm highly assured that a Chinese carrier group won't walk away, the in-game mechanics aren't upto the mark and looks more like insult 😂.
It's the fastest cruise missile out there, and recently upgraded to 1000+ km range since India became an mtcr member.

thankfully a new version of brahmos known as brahmos ng is coming up with just 1.5 ton weight it would remove any need for any structural changes for the su30,and each would be able to carry 3-5 of em compared to just 1 now

Hey cap, an idea I’ve had for a series is that I have always enjoyed the ace combat series but they’re obviously not particularly realistic.
Could be interesting to see how some of the missions would play out in a more realistic way with things unchanged and maybe to see what would need to be changed to complete the mission

Seen alot of these mki's making frequent low fly over our area here at the Assam - Bhutan - Arunachal border.
There were also times when they do dog fights without you know actually shooting, only trying to point their nose towards the other, while the other tries to evade and counter.
Sound is so loud that our glass windows start rattling.

Chinese navy hq 7 with (10km range) can intercept sea skimming missile flying 50 m above surface, next is Hq26 ( modified hq16) range of 40 km , can intercept missile 15 m above surface, HHQ9 can intercept missile 10 m above sea ,. Brahmos has capability to fly only 5 m above sea, and if somehow hhq9 intercept Brahmos it has only 6 sec to respond
It amazed me when a huge pl15 shot down a rafale outside its No escape zones. Indians have Python 4 & 5 have Asram , iderby , mica, meteors, pretty much best missile from BVR & VR still can't get through HQ9s which are actually copy of s300 of russian their pl12s are copy of python 3 their pl15 is huge i dont think it can shoot spectra enabled Rafale 60 miles away man these simulation are so messed up.

I think you guys are missing the point.
1. 16 Brahmos need to be last to arrive with a range of 200 kms.
2. They would need to be accompanied by slower but more numerous subsonic antiship missiles.
3. Rafales would probably don't need to be upfront but at back with meteor missiles.

i cant share the actual info, but i can tell you guys that those so called brahmos aren't even close to BrahMos. RADAR cant detect it long range due to Low RCS ,sea-skimming capability(water f-up with em waves due to high di electric char, ) only reaction time u get is less than 30s if u have energy-prioritized high probability bearing scan other wise its just 20s. not to mention its terminal velocity with high maneuverability combo...lol once engage its literally death sentence.

Brahmos is coded to have the proper RCS however the Chinese ships and missiles are OP here
@@abhishekkuksal5700 The crucial bit is not what it does, but how it does it. In DCS, you can see the AIM-120 working(A-pole, M-pole, F-pole), however you won't ever know how it does it(internal electronic assembly, the missile thrust dynamics, the missile motor segment, its radar assembly, etc)

@@abhishekkuksal5700 Generally, the modern AIM120Cs have three stages to achieve a perfect track onto the target.
HPRF = High Pulse Repition Frequency. Useful for long range(initial stages of the missile flight) radar guidance, when the relative velocity of missile and bandit is high(both heading roughly towards each other)
MPRF = Medium Pulse Repition Frequency. Useful for short-medium range radar guidance - as the relative velocity is now lower than it was before, the enemy is most likely cranking or heading away from the missile - also consumes less electricity(the AIM-120s are supposed to self destruct after battery is gone, or they can't detonate within a set period of time)
Assuming you fired the AIM120C onto a bandit;
A-pole: Range from your airplane, to the enemy, when the missile goes HPRF active, or in combat terminology, your missile is in "husky" state. At this point the missile keeps updating its guidance state, to keep track of the enemy aircraft to the highest accuracy, through your aircraft's radar support.
M-pole: Range from your airplane, to the enemy, when the missile goes MPRF active, aka "pitbull", or terminal guidance mode, when it can guide just it by it's own radar alone. Generally at this point, you don't lock up the enemy through your radar anymore, as you don't need to support the missile anymore.
F-pole: Range from your airplane, to the enemy, at which your missile will hit the bandit.
Maybe have Pak jf17 block 3 and f16 next time in the scenario…that’ll be more fun. Nice video- keep ‘em coming.
DO YOU KNEW : 1) That speed of Brahmos Surface to Air speed is 2.8 mach BUT THE SPEED OF BRAHMOS 2 IS MACH 8 ? 2) Range of Brahmos is 490 KM 3) DO YOU KNOW -That brahmos when launched from sukhoi gets additional range and speed of the aircraft itself ? 4) Do you know that Brahmos goes for "S" maneuver before finally hitting its target making it near impossible to hit it mid air ?

Carrier with no J-15's left, Air Defence ships with no more HQ-16's, and one Air Defence Destroyer killed. That carrier is now a very expensive floating liability, and its battle group is now occupied with protecting a less than worthless asset. That's a pretty successful antishipping operation against a CBG. Also, you missed the Meteor missiles on the Rafale.

A CBG is a high value prized asset of any country. The Indians would have thrown everything they had to sink every ship and annihilate the CBG. That would include shore based missiles, submarines and their naval assets. They would also have doubled the MKI with Brahmos. A US naval captain was once asked what would happen if his ship met an Indian destroyer in combat with Brahmos and he said 'we are not going home, if you see that missile on the horizon it's too late'.
US with indian navy will be a nightmare for chinese that's why they r so against the formation of quad

14:00 Seems to me the SU-30's are lagging too far. I think they should be up closer to their CAP, so the J-15's are distracted by the fighters, and if they attack the SU's, the Indian fighters can pursue them and shoot them down.

During balakot strike chinese hq 9 couldn't shoot mirage 2000 jets ..and here they're shooting rafales..
And a brahmos missile was fired and it went 124 km deep inside pakistan..here they're shooting brahmos while in reality Pakistanis chinese radars couldn't even track it properly ..let alone shooting it..pak showed flight path of brahmos which was later dismissed by India which means they can't even track it.

IAF does have a Maritime Strike Squadron No 222 "Tiger Sharks" based in south india that covers the entire IOR with brahmos integrated Su 30 MKI ( 40 aircraft modified to carry Air launched brahmos)

When it comes to missiles the Chinese surely have got the advantage in-game, and probably also IRL, though there are lots of duds from what I have seen, possibly as high as 70%.
But the J-15's have got far too many missiles loaded, they can't take off from the carrier with a full load.
Lmao what? J-15 are actually superour to Russian machines in electronics and weight. Rafale is a light fighter and India doesn't have the top of the line upgrades, the Su-30's domestic variants would be worse than J-15s, how is the export variant supposed to compete with new Chinese hardware?
If you don't know, the Russians only hold the advantage in engines now, China was able to acquire tech from the West during the 80s, such as avionics and composite technology.
Even in the engines the Russians will soon be overtaken, apperently the Russians finally sold Su-35s to China because China will overtake them in engine tech in a couple years so they thought to get what cash they still can.
Plus Chinese AA missiles are way better than the Indians too.

You know why they did it anyways? Because the Russians believe that China will obtain parity with Russian engine tech in a couple years.

A Chinese J-11, J-16 or J-15 have better radar and jamming, as well as lighter but stronger composite material airframe too. China acquired western tech during the 80s.

In real life an US CG group is practically invincible at current times.
For that India will use shaurya missiles and ultra long range torpidoes you can't beat uscg in air to air combat .shaurya is a hypersonic glide missile with a range of 1200km and those ultra long distance torpidoes have a range of 700 km. Uscg has f35s and f18s loaded with missiles India cannot take on them with 36 rafales or 36mig 29s. But 16 shaurya with hypersonic speed are a different ballgame. Also uscg is assisted with best ssn in the world so those 700km range torpidoes will be used once they fire tomahawks.

I am resident of Punjab and beauty is there is 260ft canal in my village that also serves as boundry to Rajasthan so often there is Ariel show up on skies as Su 30 MKI from Bathinda and Sirsa Airforce base and MiG 21Bisons and Mig 29 from Suratgarh Airforce station practices over village and canal serves as identical boundry for piloting skills, unfortunately youtube doesn't allow to share images if so i get stills and video of dog fighting of these birds and beauty of Su 30mki is beast in its own, huge bird seems to paint itself on hostile radars to make sure its presence, MiG 21 is agile bird।

Yes they are practicing combined attacks. The TROPEX series of exercises, among others, are designed as joint-service exercises at the Theater level.
Your comment near the start about an F-14 or F-18 having the power to take off made me wonder... I know you did do a "what can take off from a Kuznetsov" video already, but IIRC for that you took off unloaded starting from the back of the ship, which was valid data but still kind of cheating.
So if you run out of better suggestions (haha, right) it'd be interesting to see if you're right about the F-14 and/or F-18 being able to take off _properly..._ i.e. with a full combat loadout and starting from the front launch stations, just like those planes were.
Probably both with the carrier moving as well as stationary where the Su-33 can't... I guess it'd also be worth making _sure_ the Su-33 can't, in DCS, with those same takeoff parameters, otherwise it doesn't really prove anything.
the comment didn't make sense to me considering the su-33 thrust to weight ratio is BETTER than both the F-14 and the F-18 so ...how is it that they would take off when they have the worse engines? If you don't believe me just check the wiki's of each plane. For instance both Su-27 (which the Su-33 is a variant of) and F-14 have engines rated at about ~28,000lbf (each engine). Yet the Su-27 gross weight is 51,000lbs and F-14 gross weight is 61,000lbs which means objectively that the Su-27 has greater thrust to weight ratio cus it weighs less and has the same thrust. Same goes for F-18

Well on March 9 2022 a brahmos missile went ( miss fired)to Pakistan territory, Around 144 km deep in to Pakistan but Chinese SAM failed to intercept it. 🤷🤷

Im sure it’s a competent missile irl…maybe 30-40 years ago, combining high speed with a very low flight level, but against a modern CG with *hundreds* of very advanced interceptor missiles and absurdly powerful radars you just can’t win with 16x birds and having 1 BRAHMOS per, especially against that ungodly amount of Chinese SAM’s that were launched.

Why aren't the meteors on the Rafale? Only mica ng which didn't work in this simulation anyways. Why are the BrahMos being launched from ground level from 100nm when it's range is 300 nmi and the enemy craft can't shoot the sukhois that far out, so why not fly high and give it the full speed and range? Rematch part 3 incoming!

also I think you sent a wayyy smaller number of aircrafts, like in the Pakistani attack against Russian carrier group, Pakistan had 20 Jeff’s and india here despite having a fleet of MKIs 2 times larger than the Jeff had a smaller number of aircraft. and also you sent 20 Vipers which is almost 1/4th of Pakistan’s fleet, send 1/4th of India’s MKI fleet and the outcome would probably be somewhat different.

@@sidv4615 but I think you can still run dcs on low graphics and DCS is pretty expensive itself some of the iconic jets cost like 3.5k ₹ and to play the game competitively you need a joystick and stuff like that , you can try war thunder it’s a free game and can run on potato PC but there is a lot of grind in that game unless u pay some money ,but there are 2000 vehicles (tanks,planes,ships and helicopters) ww2-cold war era

@@anmolsharma2266 its a long story but bottomline is its ready...due to non signing if mtcr India couldnt get any missile abv 300kms rg,Brahmos always had the propellant to go more than 450kms but the on brd cmptrs & lnchr veh software were not able to tgt anything beyond 290kms once the mtcr was signed this clause was removed & post that u hv seen sudden surge in 'upgradation' of the system which is actualy validation of the system...i hv said it in lay mans terms🙏🙏...hope it quenches your query bro
