    nice video! Do you recommend changing the waterpump before it breaks? At a certain milage maybe?

      Thanks for watching! I believe the recommended mileage to change the water pump on a Prius is around 60-100k miles. But I've heard some go beyond 200k, and some at 40k.
      I would say if the car is not exhibiting any problems, keep going on it. But if you already have high mileage and you're already doing a service on something else (alternator/fan/plugs/AC/etc) then it's a great time to do it then. Knock out two birds with one stone mantra.

    Ok 238000 miles is that the factory water pump

      This is not the factory water pump. I've done this change once before, but I don't remember the exact mileage. The factory Toyota pump was made by Aisin, which I also used.
