www.serenestamper.com The Serene Stamper: TINA ZINCK ~ Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator (CANADA)
In this video, I demonstrate how to create unique backgrounds using stencils (masks) and shapes from die-cuts! This is an easy way to add layers to your cards without using extra card stock. I love this fun technique and I'm sure that you will too!
Once I created all my background pieces in the video, I sped it up so that you could watch me turn them into NINE finished cards!!! The supply lists for EVERY card can be found on my August 2, 2019 blog post here: www.serenestamper.com/2019/08/...
If you live in CANADA and would like to purchase Stampin' Up! products, you can place your order online at: www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/defaul...
♥♥♥ Thank you for your patronage! Every order placed through my online store helps support my business and I am grateful to serve as your demonstrator. FREE TUTORIALS will be emailed to you as a token of my sincere appreciation! xx ♥♥♥

You knocked this video out of the park! I love your creative thinking and your process! I didn't know what you were going to do today, but I knew I didn't want to miss it! Gorgeous cards!!!! Thank you, Tina for sharing with us!
Aww, thank you June! What a sweet comment! If you send me your mailing address I'd love to pop a card in the mail for you! You can email me at serenestamper@gmail.com
I really appreciated the fast forwarding that permitted us to see your creative process on a whole bunch of cards. The best part is getting ideas and techniques that we can incorporate into our endeavors without just replicating yours. Thanks for encouraging folks to just take a chance and see what evolves from the raw materials.
Thanks Lynne! Happy Stamping! xx
Middle of the night and so excited for sunup to start a whole new direction in my card crafting life. Thank you
I have never said so many “wows, beautifuls and amazings” while watching a demo - you are sooo talented. Looking forward to watching you again. ... I’m still smiling x
These are the prettiest cards that I have ever seen, so talented!!!!! you inspire me!!!!!
You are one master card maker! Every single one is so unique. I loved all your paper piecing, especially the ones with branches, leaves and doodling. I also really love your watercoloring of the good man. Beautiful as usual! Thank you for the technique and the inspiration.
Awww, thanks so much! Your sweet comments really made my day! Happy Stamping!
Man, that chocolate really worked a treat!! I love the kitty cards, the birdie cards,...all of them really :)
Oh, my, Tina, IF ONLY I could create “on the fly” as well as you did with these LOVELY n’ HEARTWARMING designs! Really a “nice save” on the Bird Ballad card! WOW! I think EACH OF THEM turned out to be FANTASTIC! I am enamored with this technique! Such fun, so versatile, lots of room for creativity, and actually “surprises” throughout.....like fun folds n’ pigment sprinkles n’ shutter cards in a whole new way! Such a TERRIFIC way to “USE THOSE STENCILS”!! Liked the brayer coloring A LOT as it was so quick to achieve!! Time to go through my Stencil stash and see what I can create, too! YOU, my friend, have REALLY inspired me! TFS n’ HAPPY CREATIN’! Have a lovely day! :-)

This was so amazing to watch. It's kind of like watching a mystery movie. You're just not sure what's going to happen next. Your accidental inking card turned out to be my favorite. I really like the busy bird card too. That deer would look good on anything. He's exquisite.
Thanks so much Bonne!

Absolutely beautiful cards. I will definitely be trying this technique.
When I saw the stencil backgrounds I was lost as to what you would do. Creativity is definitely a talent that all of us are not given. So glad you come up with the ideas. My favorite is the "busy" bird card. Love them all, but it is my favorite. Well, maybe the "Good Man" card, too - we need men who are good dads!
Such a great video again, Tina! I happen to love all that you've shared here ... love how you think outside the box too! We don't see nearly enough of how to implement our stencils and bless you for rising above the rest and giving us some fabulous tips for creating new and fresh backgrounds. Your end results are just wonderful, as you take your viewers through the whole process from start to finish! Very well done, and I definitely rate this tutorial a 5 star out of 5 for anyone wanting to stretch themselves beyond the ordinary "stamp-and-go" ... the piece of chocolate was a great touch btw! ... and loved the music too! LOVE the kitty-cat card ... loved 'em ALL, but a little personal bias there! Lol. THANKS SO MUCH! Once again, you knocked
it out of the park on this one, girlfriend!!!! 💕😘

Thanks Dot!
Very inspiring Tina! I love them all, and what you did with the bird one to cover up the ink lines from the lid. 👍
What a nice collective of cards, Tina.
Thanks Karen! xx
I really enjoyed your video and creative process. A suggestion though...When you make your mask to go over the stencil, make the mask on paper larger than the stencil. Attach the mask to underneath copy paper and tape the mask down on one side like a hinge. When you finish inking the stencil flip back your mask like a page in a book, remove the stencil, flip the mask back down and it should exactly in the same spot for braying.
Thanks Lisa. Great idea!
Love this technique Tina. So much fun. I will give it a try. Hugs friend.
Thanks Glenda! Been thinking of you! Hope you are well and enjoying summer! xx
