The "Baby Wipe" technique has been around for YEARS but I've been having so much fun resurrecting these 'oldies but goodies' (such as my Rubber Band technique). I have always LOVED the baby wipe technique and it never ceases to WOW me with the beautiful multicolours!
If you are new to stamping and have never seen this technique before, I know you are going to want to try this! If you're someone who has been stamping for a while and has seen the baby wipe technique, you may want to pull out your ink refills and have a play with it again! I thoroughly enjoyed making these cards and video for you.

Very fun techniques, Tina. Thanks! I saved this one. Beautiful stamped flowers and feathers. When you dragged the inked wipe across the page, then again to make the plaid, that was the icing on the cake. It was all new to me.

This is without question, one of my most favourite techniques! It never fails to impress as you have so beautifully demonstrated in this video tutorial, Tina! I looove the Madras Plaid look you achieved by swiping the 'ink pad' across both ways! Brilliant! So many pretty examples of possibilities for card-making! ***** all the way!! TFS 💕

So pretty Tina! All of these came out so cool! I love the seam binding ribbon, it's my favorite. You really pulled in the colors nicely and outdid the cards you bounced off of! Thanks for the inspiration. You give a few more ideas on how to use this homemade pad than when I saw this last time (I can't remember where). I didn't try it then, but now that I have re inkers, I can!

I learned a couple of things. #1 is using five baby wipes. No wonder my try at this technique never worked well. Your work is stunning!

You can also use gouache paints for stamping, either dab paint onto stamp with a piece of sponge, or dilute it to use like an ink..

OH MY!! New to card making. All techniques I see, I want to do. Now, I have to look into the ink refills.. But I'm running out of room in my sewing /now craft room. No joke.lol Could you use maybe 2 wipes and dab small destress inks on it, or water colors?? Just thinking, and what I have.. The image you stamp was soft and feminine. The the results. Thank you for sharing..Going to attempt some how.. Liked the different top shape you did also, always seeing rectangles,or squares.. I'm saving this do I dont forget ...lol ty again
I've only used the Stampin' Up! inks. Let me know how you make out with this technique if you try other inks. HAVE FUN!

Ps. What type of baby wipes did you use. I have ones with no alcohol in them for cleaning my cutting mats. Or does it not matter? Great technique. Love when old techniques comes back around ..
