Loved the series. Just wanted to say your Euro Trip videos inspired us to book a similar road trip to Switzerland to hit the passes and your route breakdown was a big help. Looking forward to seeing your next adventure, cheers!
Marek, it was an awesome trip. I thoroughly enjoyed your adventure as always. Good to see the car perform well. I'm looking forward to seeing your next trip. Thankyou .
Very inspiring video and series, I will definitely one day this road trip. I hope you share your route breakdown (maps, cities stop, etc…). Have you a Facebook page?
FANTASTIC!!!!!!!! Now, please tell us total distance from your home (in southern England?), and how long it took in total please. Thanks, and great trip!!
Compared to your round-about route north the drive south might feel kinda boring. But in reality the run from Trondheim to Oslo is actually very scenic. You should have gone the E6 route though - it's a lot prettier even if it is 15-20 mins longer. I have some sympathy for your long drive home - we do pretty much the same every summer. It's slow and scenic through norway, and fast and flat for the rest.... I get the impression you enjoyed this trip a lot, which is awesome. If you choose to do a second "once in a lifetime" trip to see the north i would definitely recommend going a lot further north. Even just going further over Saltfjellet from the arctic circle centre is incredible landscape, but if you make it all the way up to Tromsø, Alta and north cape it's just more and more...
I think I would go back there again but probably not in M2. Some kind of comfy cruiser would be perfect for a drive this long. All the best and thanks for your comment.
@@MDrives Once you get away from dual carriageways in Norway a bit of power is very helpful for overtaking slow moving trucks, which the M2 would be idea for. I guess it's a bit noisy on the motorways though.
Watching all your episodes- I am a Norwegian seeing and seen most of the parts cities even on North cape probably 1200km further north - but some of your offroad trips not. A great video/series a hell of tour - the best amateur traveling story/pictures and also the cool MD view making this as something different experience. Perfect
I think you have to be a tourist to do those routes. I made the effort to drive the Trondheim - Bergen - Oslo route this summer, just because i never have. And it's a fantastic drive. Just one i never did cos we always fly.
I'm so glad you achieved your goal. The Arctic Circle is a great place to visit. Personally I crossed the circle at Rovaniemi - the home of Santa Claus - which is also worth a visit.
Tnx for nice videos. But - you were only half way up the country. Next time you should continue north. It is up north you will find the really amazing landscapes and wildlife.
I know we were only half way up but even that felt like a long way. Maybe one day I will just fly to Norway and hire a car to go all the way up. Regards 👋
Another great road trip and interesting videos. Could you do a price breakdown video so we have idea whether we could do something similar. Also interested to know does your car run on standard 95 ron unleaded or do you use Super 00 ron?
Thank you. Give me 2-3 weeks for that video to come out. I usually use shell/ esso 99 as they keep the engine clean. But I sipped up 95 a few time during this trip when I knew I will just drive it steadily.
I’ve now got the rear indicator problem, the hitting of the lense fixed it but it started doing it everyday. I’ve booked in to the main dealer and will probably buy a new light for a few hundred pounds to fix it. My car is a M2 comp so the problem was not fixed on the lci models. I’ve took out the light and pulled the electrical plug out and plugged back in which has fixed it for now so maybe it was a case of unplugging it and resetting it who knows. If it needs a new light I will get one fitted from bmw and have the 2 year warranty I’d rather do that than live with it not knowing when it will fail again
Mine is now gathering water as well so I will have to replace it anyway. The problem is caused by earth connection being not strong enough apparently. At least they are easy to replace. They are about £250 at BMW so not too bad.
@ I was under the impression that they rectified the earthing issue with the lci M2s due to so many issues raised about the rear lights. But it still occurs in mine so it’s off in for a look at the dealer and they will probably recommend a new light. Might do both of them I think I will see. Very good sir great videos btw fantastic footage and edits
Great series. Brought back memories from my cruise up the coast of Norway to North Cape this past summer. You captured the beauty of Norway.
Thank you. I bet that was an epic trip. Regards
Ive really enjoyed this whole series. Amazing filming!
Thank you 🙏🏻 it was a great adventure.

Thank you for your kind words. Best regards 👋
Awesome video. Nice filming Marek.
Thanks. Regards 👋
Love to see an M2 well driven. Perfect car for it. One of the regrets I had was selling my M2 with less than 15000 miles.
Surprisingly despite all the mods, the car still retains enough comfort to be a good road trip vehicle. Thanks. Regards 👋
amazing series, happyly watching every time the new ones were out :) Done the trip myself years ago.
Thanks. I bet it brought some good memories. Regards 👋
Great series and an awful lot of inspiration for future road trips !
That’s what I love to hear. Thank you for your comment. Regards 👋
Relaxing and enjoyable video, thank you very much👍
Thank you. I’m glad you enjoyed it. Regards 👋

Thank you. I used to have one before my account was hacked and I lost access. A video about route and costs will come in due course.
Seems like a lifetime ago now! But i'm super excited about next year and can't wait!! Going to miss going across those fjords though.
Great series again Marek - super inspiring and pleased for you (and the car 😅)..
Thank you 🙏🏻 all the best!
Epic trip! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for your comment. 🙏🏻

I think there’s much more to discover over there.
Will you make a video where you publish the route and everything? Cuz as a norwegian i’d like to try out this route
Hi. Yes. It will come out soon!

My thought exactly. E69 is one of the most spectacular roads in the world.
@ maybe one day.

I'm from Africa my dream is to ship a nice sports car and drive around Europe... thank you for the inspiration
Consider hiring one. I hope this dream will come true for you. Regards 👋
It was a pleasure to hang out with you and the rest of the crew. Greetings!
Hopefully we can sort something out for 2025 or 2026.
Was great to meet you 👍🏻
