Found this by accident couple of days ago. I didn't have enough yarn for the post edging but finished with a half double and then a single. Love, love, love this pattern and will try again with more yarn.
Love this..made 2 already..I found using a 5mm hook is better for a woman's size and on the last row I did a fp,sc,you get a nice finish..good luck all..thx spideyvfor doing all the brain work so I don't have to..I will be making a cowl to match as well..👍🧶🕷🖖
This is my first completed crocheted hat. I have been crocheting for about three four years . Any hats I would look knit. You made this less intimidating. I love it. Row 13 was easier then row 12 for me. Thank you thank you. It's not the first thing I've made from your channel. Keep doing what you. I also like your narratives . Stay safe, stay well be blessed. 💕
Nakato Kisakye it was essentially 3 colors. It changed about half way through (3rd set of peeks) and again near the beginning of the brim. I did 1 extra row of peeks. Also even though it is a thinner yarn, I still used the J hook for the body and a H hook for the brim.
Needed a pattern for a newborn hat I was commissioned. Done with a 2 weight cotton & stopped at 3 chevron rows, ended with ~35cm head circumference sized hat. TQ!!!
I am mid-zig and it is looking so nice! Really glad I gave this a crack. Would I be right in thinking it wouldn't be too hard to make a beret version of this pattern? I think it would look really cuwte 💜
I think I haven't been following you closely enough. Where can I send you a picture of the hat I'm working on with you, so you can tell me what I've not done correctly?
i just love how you explain..... i have loved this and several other patterns ... so easy to listen to - thank you :)
I've made this several times and I love it every time thanks for sharing your creations

I made this hat last year, and it was a smash! I gotta make more. I love your designs--keep it up!

Just finished one using the Hobby Lobby Sugarwheel Cotton. Made a great late summer/ early fall Bennie for my teenage son. Great job!
How does it look like with variegated yarn like the sugar wheel?
