I just finished one but i used the whole skein of lion brand ferris wheel sprinkles it turned out really good & now I'm working on another one with lion brand ferris wheel pink marmalade. This is a great hat pattern. It was fun to work on and will be fun to wear. I had to change the ribbing, however. No matter how hard I try, I end up crying when I try to crochet front-post-back-stitches. I'm ok with the front post, but the back post just raises my blood pressure every time I try to do it. SO I substituted seed stitch (single crochet-double crochet) for the ribbing and the hat still looks wonderful. I can't wait to make a bunch of them for the local homeless shelter this winter.

Did it and had to put 5 lines of V stitches and 2 for the brim and change size of hook and did 3 bdc and 3 fpdc and came out nice.
