We have a 2021 Model Y. Our only vehicle. We absolutely love it. We take it long distance no problem. We are a fan of the minimalist interior. We will never go back to an ICE vehicle. Just received an over the air software update. Phenomenal. Never had that with any other vehicle. Glad you like your 3.
Love seeing a “normal” video on this. It comes across as nice and authentic to hear stuff like - I don’t know how this works, but I like it. I’ve been driving a RWD model 3 since last August and it’s been great. Biggest complaint so far - you can’t turn off the one pedal feature. My wife won’t drive the car because of it. I love that feature, but that should be configurable. I will say though - try to pick an out of town drive and give it a shot with the supercharger. Most stops are ~10 or 15 minutes which I found to be perfect for “I need to pee and get a snack”. My kid just wanted to play the video games while we waited. 😂
Sunday made a run to Argyle South if Denton north of Ft Worth, first stop was at Kingsville we were fully charged by the time we had breakfast at IHop, second Charge was at Buc-ees in New Braunsville made a pit stop got some snacks had about a 10 min wait after that 3rd stop was in Waco got a snack and waited 15 min. Next stop was destination Next morning got up went to Ft Worth buc-ees had breakfast and spent 20 min charging. Then 3 stops coming home. Trips took maybe 20 min longer than an ICE vehicle. With ICE vehicle I can’t make a pit stop or get food and pump gas. So time isn’t just spent waiting. Sadly the end of this month my free super charging goes away but it was fun. I have a tough time imagining going back to an ICE vehicle but I had to come around to the whole idea of an electric behicle and things change. To me the 240 volt charger is necessary for my piece of mind I borrowed a 120 volt charger until I got my 240 volt installed. One night I was down to 20% Plugged into 11- it said 27 hours to recharge that is 3-4 hours on the 240 volt. Since I have to drive 30 min to get to a Supercharger the 240 was needed to make the car viable for me [YMMV!]
the regen braking works well when u are doing downhill, we have a stretch of hillsides where we are able to regenerate 5-6% as we go downhill from the hill ...

Might just be my favorite vehicle of all time!

I agree! The 240V charger is a must!
