Being unmotivated is common, especially in IT. I always find myself watching UA-cam videos instead of writing PowerShell scripts I should be doing or studying for certifications. Pomodoro is a great technique not only for studying but for breaking up long sessions of work. King James Version
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved".(Romans 10:9)
At my previous job at an MSP i loved it when i would have my goals plotted out for the day only to get shit on because the new guy loused up customer data sending me on a four day recovery project.
That sounds insane. But I hear working at an MSP gives you tons of experience
Was it hard getting your first cybersecurity job? That’s what keeping me from going towards it
It was pretty hard but training and networking is key
@@pushtoprod man that sucks but what do you mean training?
@@unruly9567He means upleveling your skill set. Don’t be discouraged. If it’s hard, that means the reward is great. What’s harder: not trying and imagining “What if?” or going through it and succeeding?
@@truthtelleranon wow.. thank you.. like really.. thank you.
@@unruly9567 Don’t think 6 months from now. Think 5 years from now. Stay the course
check your Vitamin D levels. Some magnesium is also good mood booster. I feel you. Same here.
Thanks for the tip! 💪🏾
Im taking the Simplilearn Cybersecurity expert course, for computer should i get an Apple or Windows Laptop? Does it matter?
It doesn’t really matter. Back in the days before windows WSL I would have definitely said Mac
I wanna exactly what tools I would need to learn how to use as far as applications and programs and technical skills. I'm having a hard time decide which path to take

Id love to switch careers to something like this but i have no experience or degrees in the field. Is there a way i can start to work on the requirements for the position
Yeah the best way is to just start. There are lots of recourses that not only help you self learn but can also prep you for some of the certifications out there
Do you guys think it’s to late to jump int cybersecurity eventually penetration tester at my age 30 ?
Never too late 🙌🏿
Do you recommended the cissp
Definitely. Especially if you already have your security + certification.
@PushToProd I don't have my plus I just found a loop hole
For all the damn certifications you need to get into cybersecurity this was not as technical as I thought a day in the life of a cybersecurity guy does.
Is that a good thing or bad thing?
It could be due to working from home. It's not for everybody.
I need to restudy networking and databases....
Is it worth going to college getting bachelor of science in cybersecurity?
I definitely recommend it. Especially since competition is heating up. If ML/CV/Ai is now a is an major that might be even better.
So is there alot of downtime/ free time in the day or is it constantly busy?
Depends on the work load. It varies.
do you think a cybersecurity fundamentals certification can get me a good job
It’s not as recognized as other certs but might make them a little easier to get
Hahahaha "I'm actually tripping right now" Hahahahah. Hey man, how much was your first Cubersecurity job paying you? How much is the entry level paying right now bro? Thank you!
Im still studying in the cybersecurity field I want to be a penetration tester any tips ??
I recommend doing a lot of challenges (ctf,red/blue, etc,) and practicing with the tools
bro can you help get in the jobs world of cyber sec
I swear I’m just over working idk why but I’m 37 and feel stuck I swear I feel like when Covid hit you either got sick or your in this lazy spell idk what they did to us lol smh
It tried to drain us of motivation
Don’t take any 💉
Just subscribed and Im looking forward to your future content. Keep it up bro🙏‼
Much needed motivation. Thanks ✊🏾
where did you learn please? tenure?
Most of what I learned was self taught
Where did you get your desk?
Fezibo Standing Desk from Amazon
I wanna become a cyber security as well
Are you working on any certs or school/boot camp?
is a $140K usd salary too small for entry level?
If you are referring to US Dollars then I believe that is far above average for entry level, even in areas cities like NYC.
Try lions mane bro it helps with focus an it’s natural
Kool I’m working on getting a job for cybersecurity
What part of cyber see you getting into?
You were a network engineer before right?
Yep. I was a network analyst but made a shift into cyber.
@PushToProd congrats on leveling up to Cybersecurity! I'm in a NOC position right now but want to transition to a SOC in the future
this was awesome
Thanks!!
Yeah I want to look in IT and leave this warehouse jobs like man…ty
Could you get a job from Mexico?
It’s not impossible, but there are less and less remote jobs nowadays.
Great insight!
Thanks! 🙌🏿
You have a degree
try taking cold showers for that morning grogginess!
Don’t like the sound of that lol. I’ll give it a try!
What do you recommend for me to get in? I have an AAS in CIS, and intern ship from a major engineering company 2 years ago im currently an insurance adjuster, you think with my past experience I could get into cyber after a few certs?
What was you doing at the internship? Did you do any security related work?
It sometimes depends on what you did while you were there. The first place to start if you want to make the move is getting your Security + Certification. There is a lot of good content on YT to help you study. Once you have it will make you much more marketable. Some companies don’t even consider you without it.
@@Stoneface_ no networking mostly they were training me to be a network engineer. I was setting up switches and hosts, using VMWare, running CAT5 cables. Etc it was basic it work, I did use setup some firewalls and they gave me a few to setup a lab at home.
@@CreatedbyLeon apply to network technician or admin roles and go from there. It's tough to get into cybersecurity without no networking or system administrator experience. Most of these cybersecurity jobs have 1000+ applicants. It's crazy. Good luck
motivation
Learn more, as a Junior cyber analysis you have a lot to learn until to get to the title Cyber Engineer.
Bro, is it possible to talk to you please.
We are hoping to go live on IG soon maybe we will be able connect and get some of your questions answered
wt thats all u do? man u lucky u aint Purple, and u guys take breaks for 20 min every 1 hr? fr? are u on vacation? anyway good video
nice work
Thanks! 🙌🏿
You think getting a AAS in cyber sec is enough to get a job?
4 breaks a day is a must with any job in my world.
He sounds like Snoop Dogg
😂
My guy, I just want to shave your beard
I hate you bro 😭😭😭😭
whats wrong with the beard
Your making me want to work harder. But also your making me feel like my level of motivation is much more advance than yours so I'm going to be fine.
You stuck in a rift and you have 0 intention of getting the work done 😂
Braa! what are you doing with 5 screens 😀
😂 what’s one more distraction
Like any good IT worker 3-4 screens is a must and the other one/two could be a gaming/Netflix screen lol.
I'm already heavy into graphic design and and a bit of after affects...id love to get involved with this work brotha you got a connect? Maybe instagram?
