Exquisite singing, super piano accompaniment. (just maybe due to some lack of rehearsal dare I..., I found a moment, very important one, of "misconducting" by Lepper at least giving a sensation of)
Both musicians tackle this piece with great understanding.
Excellent. Unless you're a singer it's unlikely you will understand how difficult this piece is. Breaths, what breaths? My party piece, back in my heyday. Sigh.

This is the epidemy of great singing He is great the voice does continue with the weight of the sound only in piano and pianisimo very difficult to do and he masters it great jog he is the best.

@@Smoothjock I really liked his voice in this repertoire. on the bel canto arias his voice sounds constricted. I hope he focuses on this repertoire
@@crisha721 he’s still quite young; as he ages the tonality will expand. But subtlety and beauty might develop a “bravura” side. Just, lets hope, the gentleness survives.

@@ian1856 Von den jüngeren Sängern z.B. Rafael Fingerlos, Samuel Hasselhorn, Julian Prégardien - und bei den "Altmeistern" etwa Christoph Prégardien, Matthias Görne und natürlich Fischer-Dieskau. (Sängerinnen habe ich hier weggelassen - männliche Stimmen finde ich für dieses Lied passender. Aber das mag Geschmackssache sein).
what is the point of comparing him to other, older singers? do you realize how young he is?

Maybe this young singer should have waited with his release until he can show a really good result, too ...
@@exboss1 Pregardien - no, Fischer-Dieskau - definite yes! But Nicolai Gedda is unsurpassed in this one.. takes the breath away
