You don't need weed and feed when you're already using much better weed killers. Weed and feed is for the lazy homeowner who wants to just do one application and not much of anything else the rest of the year. You would be better off getting down a good preemergent before soil temps reach 50deg, then spot spray whatever makes it thru, and use a good dedicated fertilizer every 4-6 weeks minimum in the spring and fall so you can get more growth out of your turf. Then if it looks disappointing still in aug/September overseed.
So when you applied in spring waiting 4 months to seed takes us into hot summer days not so great for seeding 90s. did you managed to seed and when. And thx great video 👍
I don’t think mowing has to be considered in terms of timing. Just make sure your weeds have enough leaves left because some of the active ingredients are absorbed through the leaves. Thanks for watching

I seeded around Labor day and that gave enough time for the grass before the winter
You need to de-thatch that mess of a lawn and over seed it next year it will be brand new
