Even though you can’t repair guns, you can craft the flashlight gun and just salvage it to reset the durability. Practically free way to reset gun durability
If you break the security bot charging dock you can get it to walk around during the day. I used this and a chopinator to take them down. You can lead them into the trap and they'll go down pretty quick. I've found that it takes one full chopinator to destroy a bot. After that just repair it (with the hammer), pack it up and take it to the next bot station.
Just tested and you can use a battery to power the chopinator (even at night) so you can spawn camp them outside their charging pods. Did the one in the lobby and I didn't even take any damage. It just got shoved into the corner and I used the repair hammer to keep the chopinator's health up.
You don't need traps. There is this one area on the third floor where you can lure the guard robots into an electrified piece of water, killing them almost instantly.
Given that it also has clear SCP inspiration down in containment, seems like it's essentially also an SCP survival crafting game, but going the whole hog instead of stopping at 914 like existing SCP-branded games do Hope the devs also fancy some elements from Control
@2:22 for the trip mines, I've found that instead of using screws to reload the trap, just pick the trap up and place it again and it will be reloaded without having to spend screws to do so.
Me and my friend killed security bots in the day. After smacking them for a tiny bit (on their recharging pads) they aggro and begin fighting. Using the choppinator helped a ton. Just need to repair it while it does damage (you can crouch and get close enough to repair it without taking damage)
Tripwire trap is by far the easiest way to take out a robot.Takes only 3 hits and is easy to make. The only thing you need to worry about is boxes of screws to reload it.
Realistically, the player scientists should totally be able to repair security guns. Most common failure points for handguns are feed lips and springs, small parts that they could surely make substitutes for.
what i did is get them stuck on the small stairs behind the officer small post in the same location and keep hitting with the spear or something with long reach
You also can smack the bots in their charging station during the day to activate them if you don't want to stumble around in the dark. A few good hits will activate the bot and you can then kill it which ever way you choose.
Its probably a recent update, but you actually can repair the guns, it requires a small gun repair kit The only way ive been able to get these kits was through trading cpu bricks
If anyone is curious on how many bolts it takes to kill a robot, 41 on my test. The shock traps 100% do damage to them as well. I created a circle around the fountain. About 4 trips around will cause them to fall and use 0 bolts, bullets, etc.

Does not work anymore.

This game needs more hype, honestly. It's a really good survival half-like. It's really kind of carved out it's own genre here. Thanks for the video!

You can use that chopper/slicer thing to kill the robots. It's the best way that I know. And use the hammer to repair it while its destroying the bot.

Set a chopper up near a robot spawn point for a constant CPU farm. You have to repair the chopper every morning but it's EZ mode for killing bots.

Oh dam really
@@Jade-PG Yeah! Give it a shot, it sounds wild, but it does work
Put a chopinator on top of a crafted barricade so you won't need to crouch

i found that a shocktrap and a chopinator with a batgery works wonders btw!
You can actually wake up the robots from their charger during the day. Just continuously hit the charger and eventually they'll wake.

Great vid Jade, good tactics on those bots!

Took me about 3 stacks of bolts to take one down using only the crossbow.
You can kill the robots easily by going up right outside silo 3 and baiting them into the electrified water
Had great success with just one blade trap. Bot seems to try and walk by it, and gets stuck and sliced up. Easy to lure them in.

How do you get the LCD screen recipe? I cant get it anywhere

Commenting for the algorithm ❗️❤️
This reply is also for the algorithm
After you destroy one, does another spawn in the same pod?
Yes
It takes up to 50 bolts
