Cried straight 3 days after India lost the 2003 World Cup. Dada and his men changed the Indian cricket for ever. These days Rohit's fans don't like Virat and Virat's fan don't like Rohit. But 2003 had Sachin, Sourav, Dravid, Anil etc but these legends were all loved together. If 2011 World Cup team is Perfect and 2003 World Cup team is the emotion of every 90's kid❤.

@@arunvikrama Dhoni's fans are early 2K kids they don't have the idea of previous decade Indian cricket hence they behave like that. When dhoni took over as a captain, the Indian team was much more stable with all the greats like Sehwag, Yuvraj, Zaheer, Harbhajan etc

@@arunvikramalol Dhoni fans respect the legends of the old days like Ganguly Dravid Kumble Sachin etc. because Dhoni joined the team during the last 5-6 years of their career and they guided MSD. For example, MSD showed that immense respect he had for Ganguly by asking him to captain the team during the last few overs of Dada’s last test match ever.

Pure delight listening to Harsha and Ashwin together. Harsha is just not appreciated enough as a storyteller. I was bowled over when he even remembered the Berbice win in one of the earlier episodes!! What is enhancing this is the dramatic musical interludes by Prashant Techno. Keep it coming...

Our present coach's (the wall's) sacrifice at his peak of being a wicket keeper from 2002 to 2004 in white ball cricket, could have been touched upon, this strategy helped us to have an extra batsmen or bowler that resulted us in winning nastiest 2002, champions trophy 2002 joint winners, runners up in world cup 2003, ODI series win in Pakistan 2004.

Hi Ashwin, the content is engaging but please let Harsha finish what he’s about to say. He’s got a lot of inside stories and when he starts telling them, you keep interrupting with your own childhood memories which is a buzzkill compared to what Harsha’s trying to say. Just wait for Harsha to finish Ash and you can then start telling what was your experience about it. It’s understandable that you’ve got a lot to share but its a basic etiquette to listen and not interrupt when someone’s talking during a talk show.

I fondly remember the cricket trump card game where Aquib javed's had best bowling figures of 7 for.. also chaminda vaas's best bowling performance 6 for.. But above all that.. Sanath Jayasuriya treating our team as kids.. there was a cartoon.. having two moons .. one was moon and other was ball hit by Sanath Jayasuriya ... All those fights we had between our friends and family between Sachin, Sourav and Rahul.. I'm a hardcore Rahul Dravid sir's fan... It was absolute heartbreak for me in 2003 world cup final...

Great show and the next one is the probably the most expected and important of all the episodes in this 'Kutti Stories' series.
The only gripe I have is that Ashwin has this frustrating habit of interrupting. I have seen him do this regularly against Prasanna during those IPL preview/review episodes. These kutti stories are half-hour episodes and you’ve managed to get an interview with someone that is arguably the best storyteller of Indian cricket, if not World cricket. Please do not interrupt him when he is talking.

2003 world cup was Inarguably the best ever world cup I have watched! All the teams were packed to brim with legendary players. Broadcasting rights were with Sony, SAB and SetMax, deewana Tiger was all over the screen dancing Bhangara for every six that was being hit. According to me these were defining moments of 2003 world cup
Charu Sharma, Mandira Bedi hosting the Extra Innings and ace comedian Vikram Sataye spearheading the humour segment.
John Davison's mighty arrival at the grand stage with a breathtaking fastest hundred against West Indies.
    3. Asif Karim's 3 consecutive wickets against Australia titlted the scales in favour of kenya for a brief moment.
    4) Kenya making inroads into the semifinals
    5) South Africa's Lance Klusner and Mark Boucher counter attack against Sri Lanka. Inspite of all heroics South Africa had to suffer a heartbreaking defeat.
    5) Bevan and Bichel's match saving innings against Eng and Nz.
    6) Tendulkar's 98 vs Pak was the clash of the titans.
    7) Ponting's onslaught 141 with all suddeness was the standout in the whole world cup
