Thank you Ashwin.
I am 68 years old. You made me feel i am only 20 years old as during 1971 1975 I was in college. Prior to that in school days too we didnt have radio. We have to go yo neighbour's house to listen. In college students will bring transistor. As Harsha told even we took bedsheets to Chepauk to reaerve seat in gallery. Lala Amarnath's expert commentary. Seeing Gavaskar play Spinner's bowling Farookh Engineer, the best tean under Clive Lyoid and great company. As someone has commented please try to post their pictures in the video. Excellent video by Harsha and Ashwin the two intelligents. Waiting for the next
Great
Harsha Bhogle and Ravichandran Ashwin, The Cricketing Brain and Heart Together ❤❤
Bhogle is brain and heart
Nicely put! 👍🏻
🎉❤ fantastic analysis. See how respectful Ashwin is to his dad. And he is learning constantly. Bhogle of course, what a great professional
Excellent phrase ❤
Kuch v 😸😹
Thanks for the massive response to Episode 1. Episode 2: A New Dawn releases tomorrow. Stay tuned.
Thank you for doing this. Huge fan Ash anna. All the best for world cup. Hope you make it to final 15.
The Catch which Lloyd dropped intentionally in 1979 WC Final was that of Geoff Boycott.
Waiting thala❤❤❤
Virumaandi + Singam style
I thought this show was called 🐶 stories.
😂
Despite being the 2nd highest Wicket taker for India Ash anna went on to play a Local league game to test his One day skills. Love this Simplicity from Ash anna 🙌.
Excellent! Small suggestion: Pics of Kalicharan, Kanhai etc on screen as Mr Bhogle talks about them would have been beneficial for the viewers.
Nice suggestion
@@rohitgoyal9108 Great suggestion!
Good suggestion bro 🙏
They have acted on this suggestion in the next video 👍
@kaushikka - 1975 and 79 world cup matches are on youtube. You can see Rohan Kanhai, Alvin Kallicharan, Viv, Clive Lloyd and their batting
Two highly intellectual people in conversation. Pure gold ♥️
Ashwin respect button for fans✅✅✅
U r every where. AndI like button.
😂😁🤣
Yaar ma nee ,kon he be thu ,who are you?🤔

Harsha Bhogle is literally unbeatable when it comes to storytelling on Indian cricket. I reckon he can answer for days and days, as long as the questions keep coming.
And we can listen to them for days
The smile that Harsha had while Ashwin give intro, there is an admiration and proudness on his face. Priceless! Harsha always enjoy seeing other’s success. ❤❤
Aswin's ability to extract information is superb.Harsha is reciprocating Ashwin to discuss the details.Very nice.
DIGITAL GOLD....
As a cricket lover, this is literally a faaaantastic video. Not boring even for single second. We as a cricket fans are proud to have both Harsha Bhogle Sir and Ravi Ashwin on the same screen and chatting.
Man this is brilliant. Normally I’m not the one to comment, but this such a brilliant narrative and we need guys like you to tell more stories and tales of the evolution of cricket. Ashwin came up with some brilliant research on the questions and as well Harsha’s narratives are beautiful and brilliant. Thanks so much guys, we need people like you to tell more tales on the evolution and history of our beloved game. All the best Ashwin for the world cup(if selected)❤
I want a 4 hour session only for 92-99 period ❤❤❤
Encyclopaedia of Cricket Himself..! Wat a pleasure a cricketing fan can have to hear the history 😊..
Thanks Ash for the episode
Thanks Ashwin/Harsha -This episode jogged back my memory of watching at Chepauk my first test match in 1969 Vs Australia. We used to keep our handkerchief on our seat to reserve it when we went to the washroom .
Incidentally that was a gun Australian team that played -Lawry stackpole Ian chappel walters Mckenzie -
As a young fan at that time the match is etched in my memory and the great Vishwanath made heads turn for the first time in that series.
How much was match ticket in 1969
Frankly no idea as I went with an uncle to the game .But I can bet the tickets would hv been cheaper than a snack at the ground today
One of the greatest interview in today generation from Cricket point of view.
18:24 So true story.. Eng were 135-2 then 8 wickets fall between 184 to 194. And garner bowled 4 batsman, 3 on ducks. What a invincible team WI was.
Harsha Bhogle is a cricket heritage! Not just for India but for world cricket. Respect Sir🫡
Waiting to see Harsha Ashwin and Vaughan in Crickbuzz 🙏❤️
my god ! by then Harsha would have aged like Riche Benaud!
Harsha giving his pinky finger to Ash for him to hold on to for guidance, only then realizing it's Ash collecting the baton in a relay race. This is fascinating. Loved it.
it is like watching History and English classes together. God, I love this interview and the game. I'd die to do a PhD in cricket, especially the 60s,70s &80s
Kutti stories vera level but waiting for the Big story after India lifts the WC for the 3rd time. Come on Ash Anna 🇮🇳
MARK MY WORDS - ASHWIN ANNA will win us the world cup with all round performances 🏆❤🙏
he's not even in the squad 😂
@@ranjit2289 LOL 🤣you think only you are most intelligent and rest everyone are fools here.
Ashwin is called to play ODI for AUS series for a reason.
Even rishab pant was not there in squad in 2019 WC but he played Semifinal vs NZ.
Use your head and then comment .
@@RameshKumar-ng3nf Haha no, I don't think any of that. I was just stating facts. Having said that, I would love it if Ashwin were to make into the squad. I don't understand why you need to be rude to strangers on the internet. Relax :)
@@ranjit2289 Bro, thanks for your words & nothing rude. If anyone laughs in comments its very difficult to understand whether its a sarcasm or lighter fun.
Thank God you replied decently. Most people are usually very bad in UA-cam , so difficult to identify from comments . Apologies for the misunderstanding. God bless you
@@ranjit2289I think he will be included in the team for wc...
Watched it twice already.. two of the best in their careers talking about something common in between them.. wow, just wow!
Emergence of Kapil Dev is the best thing happened to Indian cricket...
❤❤❤❤❤
Wow can't get it better Ash and Harsha Sir
Man , When you think its just another set of YT video, Ashwin comes up with this amazing series. This man has given so much joy in last decade on field and he is doing this while he is still continuing to play highest form of cricket. Your work ethic should be through the rook Ash.
Even though we are of same age you are inspiring and keep it coming
What an interview. I was loosing cricket in my life, but this interview was sooo interesting. Harsha's ability to say a story is astounding.
Such a great interview and what a legend to speak to, Harsha Bhogle. I'm a 50-year-old Sri Lankan and remember watching Roy Dias as a kid in awe at his stylish batting. The cricketers from that era were special and brave facing the likes of Garner, Lilee and Thompson without helmets!
Hope Harsha Sir Has Enough Years in him To Co Commentate With Ashwin.... Love You both Fan From...🇱🇰🇱🇰💙
Was very eager to get Harsha's perpective on 70's and 80's cricket, mostly he talks about tendulkar and dravids era. Delighted to hear his opinion.
Harsha got lots of fans in Tamilnadu ❤
Harsh the encyclopedia of cricket 🏏🏏🏏🎉
What I learn from Ashwin is.. He keeps the politics of cricket within him and heartily hosts these shows with brilliance even when he is an active player. He is messaging this... Continue what you wish to and never let yourself down.
This series is going to be gold❤️ thanks ash🙏🏻
What better than listening to two legends in conversation!
Always got inspired by Ashwin's ambition and how he tests his limits. There is no other active cricketer in the world doing UA-cam.
It's always fascinating to listen to someone talking about old-day cricket. Ash thanks for bringing back those memories.
Damn we need a binge watch for all the episode
I still remember the 97 knock by Roy Dias in Madras. That was one of the first test matches telecast live in India. An absolute classic. He was compared to Vishwanath since Vishy also made 97 against the Windies in Madras.
He made a classical century against India at Kandy. It was Rupavahini's first live telecast.
I cherish both innings
I am a 90's kid. but I always wanted to experience the history of cricket. thanks Harsha Sir and Ashwin bro.
Massive Respect for Ash Anna & Harsha bhau👏👏
Harsha with ash is always a brilliant stuff.
Thanks for bringing in my fav commentators ,he brings life to cricket through his voice
Amazing stuff. Not too long and very nostalgic to hear about so many past greats.
Ah this feels therapeutic ❤️ Love love listening to Harsha and now with ash, it's like cherry on top of a cake 🤝 Beautifull ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
This is pure gold Ashwin. This keeps me interested in Cricket - Tests & memories.
This is pure pure 100%gold ♥️🔥 lucky to hear this convo on cricket❤
How many places did I just get GOOSEBUMPS thru this conversation.. Oh Mannn❤ Just LOVE to you guys for making this happen ❤
As a cricket fan, I am just Smiling all through the video ❤
Two people who keeps the game alive. Hope more like them come out before industrialists backed/ talent management companies backed, tv commercial worth faces finish the game fully.
Nice to see the two legends I admire. Thanks for sharing the unheard stories. Looking forward.
Voice of cricket and Ash Anna in a single frame, now that is a deadly combo! Sports enthusiasts, it's a feast! 🔥💯😍 can listen to them for hours... These marvelous anecdotes being recited and narrated by them brings inmense joy to us 💙 Thanks Ashwin sir for these gem episodes!!! Looking forward to more such legendary stuff!
Thanks Ashwin for this . I enjoyed this episode fully as I did not have to constantly read captions !
I loved this one, especially what Ashwin said on comparisons. Never forget that the present players are walking on the road that's laid by the former players. And as always Harsha Bhogle is so much of insights and informative and as usual effortless. Great one. Thank you Ashwin.
What a wonderful interview !! Harsha Bhogale ji is truly a cricket encyclopaedia. Look at the love and passion he has for the game. And Ashein has one again proved that he is not only a great cricketer but also a very knowledgeable person and a great interviewer. Eagerly waiting for the second part of the interview !!
Petition to release all six episodes of this master piece right away.
Excellent! I love Harsha, sir
He is phenomenal and he is the dictionary for us regarding any cricket update
Watching 2 intellectual and best story tellers together is amazing and the best treat to watch. Both of them Harsha and Ashwin, are multi dimensional personalities with vide range of vocabulary, experience. Simply superb guys.
From Harsha interviewing Ashwin to Ashwin interviewing Harsha ❤️😍... Best cricketing mind with best cricketing brain❤
Taking about cricket of 1975-79 era , what a wonderful thought.. loved it
It's like listening to stories in a big family gathering! So personal and so enjoyable.
From start to end thoroughly enjoyed and very informative, taken back us in memory lane where as a school kid watching great Indian team captained by Kapil Dav playing Sri Lanka, thanks for touching upon Sri Lankan cricketers too
Two Amazing intellectuals in dialogue. Awesome. Admire you Ash - You work with commitment and work ethics in what ever you deep dive in. God bless you. No words as ever to speak about Harsha or his repository of cricketing knowledge. Dil Maange More
Thank you, Ashwin. This is honestly so refreshing and enjoyable! None of those cliché, non-cricketing discussions about food and "who's the biggest prankster in the dressing room" nonsense.
Thanks Ashwin and Harsha. Thanks for freshening our memories of those wonderful cricketing stories.
Masterpiece series on the way. JUST knew that watching! Thanks Ash
Absolutely thrilling this conversation!
Two great minds and communicators coming together! 🔥🔥
It's an honour watching both cricket experts with outstanding communication skills talking about cricket.I thoroughly enjoyed watching this interview.hopefully many interviews are on the way in this CHANNEL.
Opening and ending bgm with Ravi's voice is giving goosebumps...
brings back memories of me trying to tune my radio to listen to commentaries of games India played in England
Had never looked at the '79 WC final scorecard, but after listening to Harsha's anecdotes, the scorecard makes for a fascinating viewing. England are a.o for 194 being 183/2. Outstanding!!!
Two of most knowledgeable people in a single frame. Loved this episode. Keep coming Ashwin, Bhogle!
I have watched a few thousand cricket talks, With all certainty I can tell that this series is one of the finest on Indian cricket. Well done Ash and Harsha!
Ashwin, this is a wonderful conversation! Your curiosity, excellent questioning and knowing all the big names back in the day makes this an exceptional watch.
Wow. Flowing interview. Goosebumps for the fans
Love the way of narration from Harsha. We need more of this...!!!
Two brilliant minds, two brilliant speakers, one fantastic episode.
Ohh ..... Nice, what an interview... U both took back to 75 and 79. I was able visualize your conversation. Thanks.
Very grateful to see this. USAers desperately need this type of learning format, depth full insight and thoughtful debate, to gain growing insight about worldwide Cricket. Thank you!
Amazing amazing chatter ....memorizing great era of the gentle men games
Ash Anna,I was just passing by and I saw you so I thought to tell you that you are a LEGENDS still playing actively
"And we never know just when it's our time, the legends are gone and we don't know why
So before they go, look here go a toast so give 'em a rose while they still alive"
❤🇮🇳💗
Wow. Thank you for coming out with an epic and wonderful idea.! More respect for Mr. HB.
This was like a kid listening to stories from ur grandparents ❤❤ so hooked n informative
Big fan of Harsha Bhogle. He used to sit in Ashwin's chair to try and capture the stories from Chappel. Life comes full circle for Harsha. Thank you Ash, keep going.
Ash you are the best student of the game. The way you speak about olden days as fan is pure joy to watch.
You couldn’t have better guest then Harsha.
Good luck for world cup sir.
Make india proud again
Looking forward to part 2. Glad you're speaking English so I can understand it all
Two amazing persons shared a great incidents in cricket and thank you so much ❤
1974-75 was the beginning of my Cricketing Journey watching on black/white TV(a special arrangement) the 'No Bedi No Test' at one of the Bangalore Streets.
Could relate totally to everything Harsha Bhogle said.
You could not have done better than this Ashwin. You must actually encash this series of conversations by offering to some channel and make money, pay Harsha and present more such conversations 😊
Very much awaited and egar to listen when these will speak about virat's era in Indian test cricket history 🔥
My times.wonderful.harsha is phenomenal 👏👏👏
Lovely interaction between two intense cricket lovers❤️Produced of high quality, this WC series is surely going to be a big hit and a treat for passionate cricket fans💯
30 odd minutes gone in a flash, when these two cricketing minds sat and discuss the thick and thin of Cricket... Can't wait to see more of it 🤞🤞❤️❤️
The match that comes to my memory wen Harsha speaks about Vivs fielding is the 1989 Nehru Cup between India and WI.
It was a treat to hear both legends ...i was actually transported to 1975 era ....i can only say that your next episode will be way better than the movie 83. ..thank you for bringing in Harsha
Superb dedication about the old cricket. Talking about some old cricketer’s of Ceylon. Thanks to both of u . I love the session.
One of my favourite cricket commentary Harsha bhogle♥️♥️♥️
Two legends of their own art form but connected to the great game of cricket. Lucky to be part of this day and age.
